Cricket coach 2009 released!!!

Oh so it has NZ domestic cricket?

Is it quite similar to playing as the English county teams in ICC, can you sign up players and what not?

Plus where can you get it from?

surendar posted it earlier - http://www.cricketcoachgame.com/cricketcoach2009.exe

This is version 3.02 though, 3.03 is coming out soon which would probably have more bugs fixed. And, yeah, you can sign players with any domestic team. It's got domestic teams from all major nations and you can play internationally as some of the associates.

Great game tbh, the match engine needs to be sorted out though. T20 scores are too high, and ODI scores and Test scores are generally too low. However, I noticed that whenever I autoplayed T20s (more interested in ODIs and Tests tbh), the scores were very realistic, so yeah. Shall post a proper review later as I just finished my trial version yesterday.

Edit: Actually, 3.03 might be released already, probably the same link. So yeah, my bad. ;O I haven't checked the CC forums so yeah.

Thanks man, I'll download it and give it a whirl.

I downloaded the 3.3 one.

I've just played my first game with ND, really enjoy it so far. Looks like a very good game :D

In comparison, perhaps. Although EA and Rockingham aren't exactly on a level playing field are they? Oli is trying his best, and that's what matters. Give him the staff and the money, then we will see what happens.

But the thing is I am judging the game as the product not how well they did with hardly any money, staff etc.

If i'm not going to invest my time in my second favourite sport it can't be that good. Sorry to break it to you, If you ask anyone on msn they say "oh that ████ game" but on the forums they talk about how well they've done by himself. His done a bloody good effort and i applaud him for that but I am also looking at if I'm going to buy it etc. For me that answer is no.

Oh CDM, how we think alike.

At the end of the day...Will you spend 40 bucks on a dodgy product? No. Regardless of whether your car comes a poor man who needs a car sale, or a big motor company who doesn't really need the money - your not going to waste your hard earned cash on a dodgy product.

What do you not like about the game? Maybe its something Oli can work on.

Most bugs and crashes have now been sorted, so thats no an issue.

I'd imagine 3.05 or 3.06 will have a massive change in the run-rates. I can't imagine that to get up to 3.06 will take long, maybe a week or two.

I think its harsh to say its "crap with potential," because, where else can you find the amount of leagues you get?

Don't worry about it mate. It's very good. I can actually see myself playing this game for awhile.

The amount of leagues is the potential part..... wouldn't be fantastic to see all those leagues and awesome gameplay, no crashes, no bugs. That would be fantastic!

Good news, new version out which means even less crashes and bugs.

It also means that the OD engine has been tweaked a little.

Even less crashes..... there shouldn't be any crashes!

Agreed, thats what we're working towards.

You have to remember the game is still in the beta-phase, we're going to knock all these bugs and crashes out of the water, and we'll have a very good game.
