Then i can continue working on National Stadium Karachi-it is 3/4 complete..but no point if we cant convert the files.
btw in pro version of stetchup 6 there is an option to export the 3d model to 3ds. thats the file i gave you JK. did it come out better that way or something?
yeah thats what i wanted to know because modeling in sketchup is easier to learn than in max. so if everyone can model in stetchup then we can pass it on to LM or JK to texture.

Jk, what if they were to just give you teh file untexturised and then u texture it? I suppose texturising is the longest bit

Yeah that's the bit I was wondering about as well. Do you lose less texture if the file is in the same format??
And by the way holmie, isn't there an option to export 3d model to .3ds in the standard version of Sketchup as well?
