I was asking for it, as we don't need to wait for much time for those who want to skip batting or bowling.

----------

But here, it shows decimal for FFFFFF is 16777215:p

----------

I have noticed that majority of the deliveries are on shorter side.

----------

Can you make a full screen for resolution 1366*768

- Aaah, you need to split that value up into FF FF FF and then convert each of the groups into decimal.

- The AI will continue to bowl short as long as you're not scoring heavily from it (it adjusts its length)

- You can set the video options - the wide screen resolution should be there as well as the fullscreen option.

----------

Damn!I missed century, even when I pressed to drive the ball, the ball was converted to a lofted one.Last time you told me it happens on mistime shots, but to tell it went in the same direction I demanded it to go.

It could either have been mistimed, top edged or could have taken the leading edge (if you were driving on the on side).

----------

I'm really struggling with the controls. I understand the controls, but when am i meant to press them, while the bowler runs in, as he lets go, as the ball bounces?

Any help, i know Zorax said press i, o, k, l as he runs in, but i've tried that and i still don't seem to hit the ball.

Kurtkz, have you thought about a timing meter?

Sure thing, I'll add the timing meter as soon as I've sorted out the fielding problems :)

What you want to do is move your batsman into position, then wait for the ball. As soon as the ball is about a cm away from your batsman, hold in the A/B/C/D button (default is: i/o/k/l), then press a direction button (default: q,w,e,a,s,d,z,x,c) to play a shot.

I don't think its always necessary to play spinner coming down the pitch.Improve on that part.:)

Do you mean you don't like how the batsman gets drawn out of the crease sometimes against the spinners? I can tweak it a bit so that it only gets drawn out when you're far from the ball, but that aspect will stay in the game.

I am just loving the amount of work being put in here. Also I am a bit upset that I ain't being able to help the game in any form due to my busy schedule. I am sorry Kurt. I know I have disappointed you.

@Meet: You are doing a great job brother. Providing the best ideas and feedback. Continue the good work.

Is it just me or everyone having problem in scoring in fineleg zone? I'm just unable to push the ball away there! All it does is go in the square area onside or just tip off at the crease, when I try to play hip glance, leg glance or even hook! Most of the time I find it easy to use the pace of the ball and exploit the gap on off side. While doing so, I just love the ball physics. Almost all the balls go in same 2-3 areas for that shots. Try to implement Meet's suggestions of CONE for the shot areas. It gives many probable areas of scoring and not just the same area of the zone which is now present. Even Cricket Revolution has the same prospect but the outcome depends on timing.

yeah, when I try to play to fine leg, it always goes through square leg or around mid wicket. I think it needs to be a fair way down the legside to get it really fine.

Isn't it pretty hard to hit there on purpose in real-life though? The first problem is hitting it at all with such an angled bat, the second problem is not edging it, the third is getting it past your pads/legs, and the fourth is getting it wide of the keeper. The only deliberate shots off pace I can remember seeing going there (apart from hooks and 'scoops') were off balls that were pretty wide down leg.

This is kind of what I was going for in the game - to get it really fine it needs to be heading down leg a fair way. If it's anywhere around middle stump, the best you can do (in most cases) is to play it square. Anywhere around off stump or outside and you'll probably be hitting in front of square.

Having said that, I did realise last night that the cone in which the ball goes at the moment is very narrow based on timing (probably 5-10 degrees either way). I'm updating that now to make timing play a more marked effect.

There's going to be lots of changes in the next update, so I'll probably only release it early next week. In the meantime, keep those comments and suggestions rolling in :)

Its good that you are including them.:)Remembered how cone was used to move-A to move it on left side and D to move it on right side, W to move it behind the wickets, than you can move it with the help of A and D.S was used to get the cone back to in front of wickets.:)Please improve on that short balls part as bowlers bowl it continuously.I know you told me that they will only change their length when heavy runs are scored of them, but it just frustrates us with continuous short balls, instead it can be done occasionally.

----------

Which key is used for defensive shots?
I know its W, but what if I have changed the controls.

To get it more realistic, imply front foot and back foot defense.Though as you are including the cone, there will be a need to renovate the controls.

so you will include a option to chose if you want to include cone or not?
great
but make the batting with cone difficult too.if by no chance the ball will go into the area of cone, the ball will edge and many more similar to real life cricket.i guess you are not including the runs which are expected to be safely completed, right?so do you need a mockup of the box with the timing meter, udrs and third umpire?if yes, let me know.:)
and the color actually and in game looks a lot different, dunno whats the reason. And the text in sub bar needs to be black in color.:)
