As most of you know, I am in Pakistan now, and there is a WHOLE cricket ground right across my street, with scoreboard and boundary rope and everything. And guess what! I played my first match today. Heres what happened. (I dont know every1 on my team's names yet so im not gonna name any)

Our team won the toss and decided to bat.

Openers come out and get a flurry of boundarys, and after 10 overs, 68/0

then disaster, we lost 4 wickets, all edges to the slips in the next 10 overs, and were 93/4.

I came in at #6, and the very first ball i hit went straight up in the air. And how lucky can ya get, it was dropped by the bowler.

Then, for the next 15 overs, i hit boundarys, and my partner hit 5 sixes in 1 over all straight back the bowler's head. Score became 208/4 after 35 overs.

The other team desperatly needed a wicket, and brought on their best spinner, and the very first ball i faced from him did not spin and was a half-folley.

Coming down the track, i whacked it over his head for six. My score was 85 not out. Next ball, full toss, and i smashed it again over the boundary. Next ball, I was bowled, ON A NOBALL! :p And for the rest of the over, i swept the ball for 4. I got my century on the 5th ball of that over. 29 runs off that over, and we were 237/4 after 36 overs. My partner and i hit all the bad balls to the boundary, and soon the score became 308/4 after 48. My partner faced that delivery, and smashed it for four, and brought up his hundred. Score : 312/4 Me 112* Partner : 102* 48.1 over

Then My Partner came down the track wildly, and missed it, and was stumped. 312/5, and an end to a very good knock. 48.3 : My new partner comes in, and gets on his knees, and hooks the ball for 4 over the keeper's head. Looked like a desperate shot. 316/5, and 8 balls to go. Next ball, we take a single with him sweeping once more. 7 to go, and next ball i smash through covers for just a single. 6 balls to go, 318/5, and on the next 5 balls i hit fours, and the last ball for six over long on. 30 runs off the last over. 348/5, an imposing total.

The "other team" 's reply will come tomorrow when i get more time to post this :d , stay tuned, and dont go away.

This has been a presentation from Ten Sports. :p

Good dream .COntinue to be in fantasy land and get something like 8 wickets for 4 runs.

Rahul, No, just for the summer,

and on fardin and ronny's comments :

its all true, i play all the time in USA, im really good, my cousin plays on the team and he got me in.

Anyway, continuing on :

The openers come out, and they score boundaries, and in 10 overs, 56/0

They keep on charging scoring boundaries every 3-4 balls, and in the 13th over, 1 of the openers hits a BOOMING Hook shot for Six. Score is 73/0.

Breakthrough time for us ! My cousin, (Right arm - fast-med) takes 1 of the opener's off stump off completly. 73/1.

But the loss of this wicket didnt mean much to them, and they kept on keeping up their same pace, taking 6-8 runs an over usually.

Score after 25 overs : 153/1

Another break through, this time from my cousin's friend, (Right Arm, Leg-Break Googly) in the 27th over. The batsmen whacked the ball straight up in the air, and was caught by the wicket keeper. Score : 162/2

By the 35th over, 234/2, and well on course to overcome that total.

Still not losing a wicket, they went on, and in 40 overs, 276/2

Wickets needed desperatly. Just 73 runs required off 10 overs.

My captain called me to bowl the 41st over, and my 1st over.

Me (Right Arm- Medium Fast) was hit for a 4 through the covers 1st ball

2nd ball was a dot ball, outswinger

3rd ball was hit for a six, as it was a full toss.

4th ball was a 4, half-folly i bowled

5th and 6th ball i bowled had some pace in it, and were dots.

After 41 overs : 290/2, and just 59 required for a victory.

Now, a breakthrough, well almost, the batsmen in the next over try to smash through covers, goes straight to me, and i try to run them out, and throw to the wicket keeper, but the wicket keeper though it was gonna hit the stumps so he didnt do anything, and that ball went for 1 run and 4 overthrows. It WOULD have been out if i hit. (What umpire said)

now 41.1 overs and 295/2, and just 54 to win.

The batsmen keep on charging our bowlers, and hit plenty of boundaries, and by over 49, the game was even. (2 overs remaining) Score : 333/2

8 runs an over required.

My cousin had 1 over remaining, and bowled it, pretty well, just giving off 7.

340/2, and 9 runs required.

Some guy bowled it (Right Arm Off Break)

Im gonna detail this over very precisly :p

Ball 1 : No run, straight to fielder at point

Ball 2 : DROPPED! Went to the fielder at long on, and was almost 6, but they take 3 runs in that incident.

6 runs from 4 balls. Can they do it? Can we do it?

Ball 3 : Single, driven to cover

Ball 4 : Single, Swept fine but not fine enough

4 off 2 balls needed.

Ball 5 : Gets on his knees and pulls, goes to a fielder on the boundary, 2 runs

2 off 1 ball

Ball 6 : Bowler comes in and delivers, swung alot, but got bat on it, straight up in the air!

AND

CAUGHT BY THE BOWLER

CAUGHT AND BOWLED!

WE WON BY 1 RUN!!!!!!

:cheers :happy :happy :D

Just to tell u guys, the boundaries are VERY SHORT, 3/4th's of the actual field.

Also the pitch is 3/4 short than actual, but still is really nice to play on

Some facts about the ground :

Highest Score : 486

Average : 379

Lowest : 123

Also it is hard actual cricket ball ;)

I will post pictures of the ground soon, just gotta get a better connection

You think it is true but where are the facts,Hitting 4 sixes of an over If it is true then what sort of bowler gets hit for four sixes?
scoring a centurie coming down at 20 over and finishing the centurie at 39 over.

I dont really believe it is true unless he posts the picture of the ground the scoresheet and some gameplay pictures as well. :D

it's hard to believe but i don't want to make any false accusations, so that's cool if it's true.

Show us some pictures of the ground and stuff, then maybe it will be easier to believe

if it is true then you guys are some bunch of very talented cricketers,
