Cricket Life Q&A - Your Questions Answered

It doesn't add up,

Rob:

The three editions are catered to different market segments. Someone looking to buy a 3D arcade style cricket game would be buying Express (or by whatever name it will be called in certain markets) edition. Want to experience a Cricketer’s Life off the field (as well as limited on-the-field interaction) with all the peaks and troughs? Buy CL Regular. The third edition, CL Ultimate, combines CL Express and CL Regular features into one mega game with complete control over a cricketer’s life on and off the field.

One major difference between Express and Ultimate editions – You can control the entire team in Express edition (like other 3D cricket games), unlike the ultimate edition, in which, you only control your chosen individual career player.

So either the 'Ultimate' edition isn't both the 'Express' and 'Regular' editions combined, or you will be able to play as the entire team and a single player depending on which mode you choose to play.

Exactly... All three are different games. Gamebience cannot tell us that the ultimate version is Express and regular together, as clearly you would not be able to play the whole team.

I am hoping gamebience can do something about it.

I hope it will have good graphics and animations

‎1. We are working on getting teams & kits licensed. We would like to see support from gamers such as you for seeking licensed teams & kits.
2. For the first edition, we have limited modability. We will be working on opening the game up to modders in the next version.
3. Please watch out for the game to know about this feature.
4. Yes it is possible to add players and teams, with custom textures

Rahulkhush - do work for gamebience? any news on final ordeal? possibly release time? because according to the timeline final ordeal is supposed to be release by end of march and no videos till yet?

Sounds overly complex and potentially crappy.

Notice the absolute lack of screenshots despite the game being in development for so long. It probably looks like CR.

Wow, nothing but negativity in your responses to their press release. Do you want to let them release it first, before criticising it so harshly?

Let's see what the game looks and plays like first.

Q - When will we have screenshots?

Ans - Well, we have no idea to release any proof at this moment as it is too early to do so. We will be doing it at an appropriate time. Also, for every trailer or screenshot, we need to go through an approval process and it is a tedious job to do so. So, please be patient until May.
about an hour ago ? Like Moreover, we are seeking licensing for stadia and player kits, logo, name & likeness. It hasn't been finalized yet. As such, we cannot release any screenshot or video due to the uncertainty of the negotiations. Some changes may be made as a result of these negotiations and thus, the final result may be quite different than what we have currently. That is why, we have been saying that it's too early to show anything atm.

They are communicating.... Thats a good sign. ;) I guess they are aiming for the Indian Summer :p
