Though SixerBoy11 had a busy life, he managed to work for the league till the third season. After three successive seasons, the league was kept on hold due to SixerBoy11's inactivity. After two and a half months it was re-opened under the simulation of @RAGHU . On February 24, 2016 @PCA bid adieu to the PlanetCricket forums, handing over the league to Na Maloom Afraad and AB the smasher.

Now comes the most important part.
Each team can have 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 managers. There are many activities like bidding, team selection, newspaper, tv, tweet, betting, website so having more than one manager for a team will be helpful.
Managers who had managed a team in Season 3 will be given first preference. If they are not interested/responded those teams will be given to other managers solely based on my discretion. Once the initial list of managers have been identified others can join as the co-managers depending on the interest of the manager.
If you had managed a team in season 4 and would continue to do so in season 5, you are welcome to do that. Please post your confirmation.
If you had not participated in season 4 then please post your interest as there will be many vacant slots for managers/co-managers.
If you have any questions please feel free to post.
Team financials are here.

Season 3 Changes:
1. Ticket Revenue:
Previously ticket revenue was based on three factors Wining Momentum, Activity and Wesbite. I understand that not all teams will have time to update their website. So going forward only winning momentum (50%) and activity (50%) will decide the ticket revenue.
But teams maintaining a website will be rewarded with bonus prizes.
2. Pitch Type:
Previously all matches were simulated on normal pitch. Going forward home team will have the option of choosing the pitch type (Excellent or normal or poor).
3. Betting:
Previously either you win $200,000 or lose $200,000 for each bet. Going forward, if you win the bet you will get $300,000 and if you lose the bet you will lose just $100,000. This is to encourage betting and have more bets.
4. Activity Index:
Previously a manager can earn maximum of 25 points in each round. Its been increased to 50 from Season 3. So even if one manager is inactive your team can still get 50 points.
5. Player Release:
Teams will not get any money for releasing their players. If a player is being released, they just don't need to renew his contract.
6. Buying/Selling Players:
Previously players have to bought or sold at a fixed price which was decided during the initial purchase. Going forward a player can be sold upto thrice his worth of the initial price. But he cannot sold less than his purchase price.
For example: KKR bought Kapil Dev for 1 Million. He can be sold upto 3 Million but cannot be sold for less than 1 Million.
Lets say KKR sells Kapil Dev for 1.6 Million to Durban. Here Durban needs to pay 1.6 Million but KKR will get only $600,000. The remaining 1 million will go to the player.
If KKR sells Kapil Dev for 1 million then they will not get any money and the entire 1 million goes to the player.
IN nutshell a team which is selling a player can get only the difference amount between Purchase price and Selling price.

Player Release:
If you no longer need a player he can be released. You will get 50% of what you paid for him if you release the player.
Player Contracts:
After Secret Bidding, Trade Window and Player release you need to provide contracts for the players.
Kolkata Knight Riders have 16.1 Million lets say they spend their 3 million in secret bidding for buying 3 players then
they need to sign contracts with 15 players with the remaining 13 million amount.
Chennai Super Kings have 8.7 Million and if they spend their 3 million in secret bidding for buying 3 players then
they need to sign cotracts with 15 with the remaining 5.7 million amount.
Lets say Chennai Super Kings buy Gary Sobers from KKR for 1.6 million. In this case there is no need to renew the contract means
they don't need to spend anything additional to retain the player. If Chennai Super Kings want to retain Richard Hadlee then they to spend 1.7 million to retain him.
Sponsors:
Each team can have one apparell sponsor and one main sponsor. Teams have the choice to decide their sponsors.
Season 2 sponsorship is based on your performance in season 1.
Main sponsor will provide following fixed amount for Season 2.
Kolkata Knight Riders - 6 Million
Southampton Samurai - 5 Million
Mumbai Indians (Kings X1 Punjab) - 4.5 Million
Royal Challengers Bangalore - 4 Million
Chelsea Cricket Club - 3.5 Million
Hobart Tigers - 3.5 Million
Deccan Chargers - 3 Million
Durban Dolphins - 3 Million
Mettur Game Changers - 2.5 Million
Chennai Super Kings (Chennai Lions) - 2.5 Million
For Apparell sponsor teams can either go for 1 Million fixed or 200,000 performance bonus for each win in season 2 (9 league + 1 playoff + 1 final). Sponsorship money will be provided once the secrte bidding and trade window is closed.
Ticket Revenue
Ticket Revenue for home matches would be based on three factors
1. Winning Momentum - 50% (same as season 1)
2. Team Activeness (comments, newsletter, etc) - 50%
Betting:
From season 2 onwards betting is going to be legalised in Cricket Manager 2k15. Betting will happen for real life matches. Polls will be used for Betting, so that it's easy to track. Both Managers can bet (ie they can vote on the polls). Each entry will cost 200,000 if you win your money gets doubled (ie 400,000) if you loose your 200,000 is gone. Betting is optional if teams don't want to participate that's ok. But who want to miss out on earning easy money. Beware it requires some cricketing brain.
All kinds of real life matches will be available for betting. Domestic, international, test, odi, t20 etc.
For example a poll will be created on this thread for IPL finals and teams can vote on it. If both the managers vote on the poll then 400,000 will be your betting amount and if they win they will walk away with 800,000.
Merchandise:
Merchandise will be introduced from Season 2. At the beginning of the season teams need to decide how many t-shirts they want to produce. The cost of producing a t-shirt is $25 and the selling price of t-shirt is $50. For season 2 max of 120,000 t-shirts can be produced. Now comes the crucial part. Number of t-shirts you sell depends on number of matches you win. For each match you win 10,000 t-shirts will be sold. If you win finals 30,000 additional t-shirts will be sold.
Number of league matches - 8 (80,000 t-shirts)
Playoffs will be considered as 1 match (10,000 t-shirts)
Finals 1 match (30,000 t-shirts)
Let's say you want to produce 120,000 t-shirts. 120,000*25 = 3 million will be deduced at the start of the season and if you win just one match then 10000*50 you will get 500,000 which means a loss of 2.5 million for your team.
Let's say you want to produce 60,000 t-shirts. 60000*25= 1.5 million will be your manufacturing cost and if you win 8 matches all 60000 will be sold but you could have sold extra 20000 t-shirts here.
Insurance:
There will be two rain affected matches in season 2 and you have two options here.
Either you can spend 500,000 million Insurance or you may not spend even a penny for Insurance.
If your home match is rain affected and you would have spent on Insurance then whatever the tickets revenue you had in your previous match that would be given to you which indirectly means your first home match will not be rain affected.
Suppose your ticket revenue for your first home match is 800,000 and your second match is rain affected and if you have insurance cover you will get the entire 800,000.
Suppose your ticket revenue for your first home match is 400,000 and your second match is rain affected and if you have insurance cover you will get the entire 400,000.
Even though you spent 500,000 there is a possibility of getting lower than what you spent.
Stadium Upgrade
Currently your stadium capacity is 10,000 which can be upgraded to 20,000 on spending 10 Million for Infrastructure cost.
To Summarize,
You can spend money for
1. Buying Players in secret bidding
2. Buying Players from other teams
3. Paying wages to retain your existing players
4. Merchandise cost
5. Betting fee
6. Insurance Cost

You can earn money by
1. Selling Players to other teams
2. Releasing Players
3. Match prize, Overall and Bonus Prizes
4. Ticket Revenue
5. Merchandise Revenue
6. Betting Income
7. Sponsorships
Inputs from Managers:
