Electronic Arts announced today that England Cricket star, Andrew Flintoff has signed with EA to be the face of EA SPORTS? Cricket 2005, set for release on July 1st, 2005 for the PlayStation?2 computer entertainment system, Xbox? videogame system from Microsoft and PC.
Andrew ?Freddie? Flintoff is the golden boy of English cricket, storming on to the scene 4 years ago. His heroics with both bat and ball have catapulted England up the world rankings. His involvement in England?s test side has meant that after years in the cold, England is once again a side to be reckoned with.
EA SPORTS? Cricket 2005 will let gamers compete as a fully licensed English team against a host of international opponents including Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. In addition the all-new explosive Twenty20 tournament and all the domestic county cricket teams and tournaments will also be on offer
