The interest declaring procedure can start immediately. Selection of managers will not be on a first-come-first-serve basis though.

Not sure on the criteria which is driving the above, but based on this - I am tempted to volunteer for India if my sign up goes through. If it is not going through, no issues.

No, you can only pick players from one World Cup squad.

It has gone through all right. You sure want to continue with the '96 one? I reckon the ones of 2003, 2007 (even though India was thrashed in that WC ) and 2011 are a tad stronger.

Although Waqar wasn't in the 1992 World Cup squad (out injured wasn't he?), I'll still allow him as there are only 14 players in the '92 squad and he did play plenty of matches in the same year leading up to the tournament.

Yeah, 1996 ones. Since this league is for 'Rewind', I would prefer to see those classy players back. Well, I don't want to go back too long for 80's and hence the decision to stick with 96 WC squad. They also had the greatest potential of winning a WCup only if they had played that semis with responsibility!

I guess left out is SriLanka and NZ( which is not confirmed ).

Should we have a couple of weak teams like Zimbabwe or Bangladesh? Or even Kenya! They have all had records of creating upsets in past atleast in one match in the WCups.
