We are talking about Cricket2002.tk, not Cricket Worldwide.

I suppose this means all the downloads are lost forever.

Cricket Worldwide were given the old cricket2002.tk forums which were a treasure-trove of tips, downloads etc and where many of us here started out in forum terms. For totally inexplicable reasons someone managed to corrupt the database and was totally unable to find any backups or give me the corrupted db despite my offer to try and fix it. This demonstrated a level of incompetence far beyond what I had dreamed was possible and I just regret declining the offer to take over cricket2002.tk on the several occasions I was offered the chance to.

I remember when I was an administrator at Cricket2002.tk, I was given specific instructions not to touch the downloads. This Cricket Worldwide merge should never have happened.

Thanks to a forum admin of the first re-incarnation of the Cricket2002.tk forums earlier in the year (before it got took over by Cricket WorldWide and basically destroyed) the original cricket2002.tk forum database has been restored including all Cricket 2002 and Cricket 2004 downloads.

It is now in a searchable archive at PlanetCricket.net in our older cricket games section:

This was not really cWW fault, an assistant admin accidently (I think it was an accident) deleted everything. I was a mod on there when it happened.

I've no problem with what you did. My problem was what happened after the main owner got back. Nothing except a closed thread saying we can't do anything. See here.

In the end what Cricket Worldwide were saying about it being "impossible" was utter crap, PlanetCricket have now uploaded it on their server, it's at the bottom of the forum index.
