I just hope that it's been in the pipes for a while and isn't made in a hurry due to the poor Cricket 2004. Hopefully, it's being made by different studios who will put more care into the game.
that isn't good news then....maybe they'll release it in 2006. or perhaps december 31st 2005. who knows...it'll probably be a substandard game but then there will be room for improvement from the good people here! cricket 2004 did really blow me away (in a good way) after cricket 2002. i didn't expect it to be that in-depth, whatwith the bugs.Originally posted by barmyarmy@Aug 4 2004, 01:04 PM
I can't believe they're going to release a C2k5. I remember Andrew Wilson talking about the 18 month development cycle on cricket games before c2k4 was released.
Perhaps this is the same as Cricket 2004 but with the bugs sorted and a few extra bits to sell it, after allOriginally posted by barmyarmy@Aug 4 2004, 01:04 PM

That does sound like extreme optimism. Whilst I wouldn't put it past EA to release a 'patched' version and charge us all again I can't imagine it being bug free for a moment.Originally posted by Pat@Aug 9 2004, 01:17 PM
I think cricket 2005 will be just a "bug-free" version of 2004,with a few things added here n there.
