Dec 26-30: 4th Test - Australia v England at Melbourne

That must be the 100th freaking time Ponting has gotten out that way

P.S. Not that I'm complaining though :p

Hussey is the key wicket. Oh man if England can get him out before lunch...what a dream start!

I dislike this "gambling" of reviews by Strauss. That's not what this system is for, and now if they get some howlers against em they'll be kicking themselves.

Daft referral. For all the talk of a slow pitch, it's not that slow (surely most pitches are somewhere between slow and fast) and the bounce is good enough that one should scoff at all appeals for lbw above the knee.

this probably is about the time the wicket would be losing any of its nip.

Hussey is going to look like a god compared to the rest of the australians again.

Yeah boyyy. Anderson bowled so well without reward in his first spell, I'm glad he got the big wicket in hussey. I predict some resistance from here on out and another 240 odd total from the Aussies.

As was the case in Perth. If the conditions (pitch & overhead) stay the same like this throughout this test. I'd back AUS quicks to cause ENG bats equal or more damage again.

Would give Smith another Test, will need runs else he could be put into the never again basket. The selectors don't like players with that outside offstump weakness which White and Hodge showed in their short Test careers.

Clarke now out in similar fashion to the last test.
