Its high time now and I have decided to take up this issue.

Well has anybody seen that a staff memeber or any authority of the forum being deducted his reps .

I am not talking bout guys like bamyarmy or ste. They dont seem to have much probs.

But dont u think this should be made more transparent like as to who gave u negative reps and was he justified in doing so.

I have been given negative reps only because I didint agree with a staff member .

I dont think I will be spared and most probably I will be banned but i WOULD LIKE ALL OF YOU TO TAKE A STAND on this transparency issue.

First of all, there's no chance of you being banned- voicing your opinion isn't against the rules. Also, I've had negative reps given plenty of times, most for bullsh*t reasons- but no one knows because I don't feel the need to complain to the world about losing a few rep points. As for making it transparent, all that'll bring is a forum full of people afraid to give negative rep because they know they'll probably get retaliated to, whether it's justified or not. In regards to bannings, we have many members here who would have been banned on other forums I visit, probably for good reason too- we take the time to discuss each case individually, and most of the time impose lesser penalties- people complain about temp bans or mod preview, well guess what, look at the rules, you deserve a bloody permanent one, so be happy. And how would you suggest we make bannings transparent? Staff forum open to the public? An 1800 word essay on why someone was banned? If you're that concerned they can tell you themselves, because what you can and can't do is pretty clear, and in most cases they'll have had several chances given- at that point, it should be pretty obvious what it's for.
