Ya I used curves in the bolt one but then played more so I guess it got covered

Yah it should effect your work and they would be a lot better than your recent works .

I need comments. For the first time, paid more attention to texures, shapes and text instead of the usual basic lighting & selective coloring.

The stock placement ruins the whole effort.
The use of textures along with text is elegant,try playing with filters too.
