Download Full PC games for free [C&C, PoP, Far Cry etc]

Oh damn, thanks Naveed. Now this won't eat into my download limit at least.

That ad remove thing, is that legal?

Yeah, I wouldn't block the ads, just so to keep things legal and fair. Besides, the ads might be interesting.

Haha, I saw a screenie advertising Maccas.

TBH, I have never heard of them games in the first post 'cept for Rayman, which I played on the PS1. So what one is the best?

For those thinking of downloading and worrying about whether your pc will handle the games, visit :

This way everyone can see whether the game will run or not and can spare themselves hours of downloading for nothing.

Oh, and a strange thing happened earlier on FarCry, where the ads appear to have dissapeared! I havent installed any cracks as they may be seen as illegal, but for one time of playing the ads were gone. When I returned to the game later...they returned.

Ad-Supported games for free. What a great idea. I wonder where this could go? Would integrating the ad's into the actual gameplay work rather than just splashing an add inbetween levels work? Could you find yourself passing a real world shop inside a game and popping in for a look? I wonder when and if a brand new state of the art game will be released for free. It's happened in the music industry you can get ad-supported music free and Prince recently gave his latest CD away inside the Sunday Mail, so why not games?

I agree Kev, this could really catch on. Ad supported games are a great new idea.come Ubisoft has come up with a great idea. Imagine if EA Sports got in on this? They could re-release oldies like Fifa 06 and NBA 06 and make a decent little profit through advertising. They could make a fair bit out of adboards, pitch ads, menu ads - reckon EA would do it?

I am stickying this for a while so that everyone can have quick access to download links.

This sounds like a really cool idea. The game making companies will be able to get some profit out of old games and those that don't have the games will now be able to get them.

Far Cry and Ghost Recon are the ones I've heard of so I'll probably download them first.

I'll be getting Far Cry tomorrow :)
Should've seen this earlier. Will read more on this game later :D
Thanks guys for finding this out!
