Wait, can someone explain to me the point of this update? I thought this was suppose to be a big update to Cricket Academy??? I only see MORE customization options which we knew were there and have been playing around with since Cricket Academy first released. I am not being mean or anything but what is the harm in providing a useful update? I don't know about others but I've been bored to death by these updates as we either get useless bobblehead screenshots or we get more customization options in the name of "BIG UPDATE" to Cricket Academy.

Ross, I don't know where you said this but in one of the toipcs you said that you were concerned about Ashes 2013 having more likes than DBIC14 on Facebook. Have you noticed that past couple of newly created threads here received probably 20% or 30% of the views and posts compared to what they use to get when you were providing useful updates every Friday?

I know this post will be looked at as just trying to troll or start an uprage but this is coming straight out of a dissapointment. Other people just don't express themselves by their posts but they do feel the same thing and I already proved that to you by mentioning the number of views and likes you get on your new threads. You are just loosing people and boring us to death with these useless updates. Why couldn't you have just provided a net session so we can atleast get a hold on the new batting and bowling systems?

The entire point of Cricket Academy is customisation.. so that really makes no sense at all.

Perhaps you're confusing Cricket Academy with Don Bradman Cricket 14.

I wouldn't be surprised if the trick is that if all skills are full, they are okay at everything, while if you have just a few, they are really good in those.

I can't imacgine considering the depth elsewhere that they'd just let you at it for rating players and have no balancing of that.

Ross if we can full all the skills than everyone would do the same and low skill team would have no chance of winning.how it is supposed to work out? If it has been answered I could not find the answer.

Player stats are neatly done. Good job.

To my surprise, CA runs smoothly in my laptop. Hope game also runs smoothly.

But I want to check if the game runs smoothly with the spec I have. If I can know it before buying , I will go with either Pc or PS3 version.

Any chance to make clone of a team and change their team type(i.e int, ind teams, club teams, etc.)?
Also casual gamers might not be having the knowledge about various options(OMG! there's too MANY), so a small description to go with it would be good too.

The CA is a brilliant way of circumnavigating any licencing laws and recruiting thousands of budding player creators. Cricket, for me, is all about the traditions and history of the game and having All Time teams in the game makes it a can't miss. Just one little question based on the quote below.....

Surely teams packed with All Time Legends will be stronger than current teams? I Presume you checked out Cricinfo when compiling your best elevens (only player I've noticed that is missed is SAs Mike Proctor) so you might have stumbled across this.....

I was going to use it to rate any All Time greats that I created. It gives a quantifiable benchmark in which players across time can be compared. If we're going for realism this would help.
Even if these figures are not used I'm completely blown away with the depth this game will have and thank you so much in advance

Thread views does not directly equate to interest levels, just think about it.

He doesn't need to explain himself to someone who clearly doesn't understand the point of Cricket Academy, and the importance of the features that were provided in the latest update.

Don't throw a tantrum because you didn't get what you wanted. The major details of this update (e.g. stats and attributes) were known in advance.

Compare this to previous cricket games and you'll realise how petulant and unappreciative you are

How does that work, for instance on a tour, your created state side plays a test team, is it goin to be harder to beat them? Even if your team had maxed stats and therefore is better than the test team?
Obviously the test team should be better in reality but I'm amazed you can implement some sort of control over it!
Or is the "balance" thing more for online play?
