Draft: Left-Handed Cricketers | Index updated

Okay, although I do think you'd do better with a proper keeper rather than just someone who's really talented at everything. Plus, having played against Anshy Rath, you'd really be missing a trick by not having him as a bowling option. Wayne Phillips, Matty Wade, Kusal Perera, Dick Spooner, Amal Silva, Niall O'Brien (:goldo:) and Tom Latham are all still available for future rounds.
Thanks for the head-up and available keepers. Will keep him as an allrounder then!

Hang on, you've played against him? Please do share!

A few years back while he was at Harrow. As is typical of Harrow, there were at least three players who've since gone on to become pros, although the only two I can remember off the top of my head were Robbie White (flashy but loose) and Anshy Rath (decent batsman, but very clever left-arm spinner). At that point, Rath had already played for Hong Kong - if it weren't for a sad habit of getting a bit yipped up under pressure, he'd be probably the outstanding associate finger-spinner. The other impressive thing was his hustle between the wickets - he came in down the order and didn't really play any big shots, but suddenly the scoreboard was ticking over two at a time. Very frustrating.

I also bowled horribly in that game - it was my first of the season and I couldn't find a rhythm. My knee was also in a state, but I don't want to use that as an excuse because my knee was also in a state when I bowled well half the time.

In addition to @Sinister One having the next pick, @CerealKiller needs to replace Iqbal Qasim because Ashutosh already picked him with Pick 72
Ed Joyce as my Associate pick

That is a really odd pick for a team that already has a keeper...

:nz: Richard Collinge

At 6ft 5ins, Richard Collinge was a menacing prospect for any batsman. He approached the wicket off a notoriously lengthy, long-striding run, hands clawing the air. He bowled left-arm fast-medium deliveries of consistent accuracy, at a length full enough to make good use of any swing. His height and strength made him an opponent to be respected.

A determined and possibly underrated tailender, he had one great hour of glory against Pakistan at Auckland in 1972-73, when he made 68 not out, the highest score by a No. 11 in Test history at that time, and shared in a Test-record stand of 151 with Brian Hastings. But Collinge's proudest moment was his participation in the first defeats ever inflicted by New Zealand on England and Australia.

The fast inswinger with which he bowled Geoff Boycott at Wellington in 1977-78 started the collapse of England to 64 all out amid feverish excitement. It was entirely appropriate that this modest, calm stalwart should have a strong hand in one of his country's finest hours.
