A very strange round though, as I had three sets of brothers in mind and nobody picked any of them. I will probably compile a "biggest misses" list at the end of the draft to look at the players I feel were really missed.

The thing is those are most likely to be picked like the Waugh brothers I thought will be people's first choice and the reason I skipped going for them. I think that's pretty much what others thought too and hence the picks are not the usual ones you'd expect or want to see.
Happy to pick Brett Lee and was the sole reason to go for the Lee brothers, Binga is my all time fav.[DOUBLEPOST=1566825083][/DOUBLEPOST]Villain's: Steve Smith Mithali Raj Shane Lee Jasprit Bumrah Brett Lee
I was gonna go for the grace brothers but assumed they’d be taken elsewhere. Tom Graveney is one of my favourite ever players and Ken was a fine bowler. That they were both Gloucestershire legends helps too! Though we sacked both as captain!
So, according to the rules of the draft, Sydney Barnes is unavailable for everyone for the duration of the draft.
NOTE - There's some controversy around WG Grace's first-class debut. The statistical consensus now regards it to be this game, but Grace himself and statisticians of the time considered it to be this game. I'm inclined to allow the pick unless anyone has strong arguments.

The Round Twelve question will be...
Name a cricketer who played for Northants.
The finest of all the county sides.
The Round Thirteen question will be...
Name a West Indian fast bowler from the 1980s.
Here is a list of suggestions, but it is by no means exhaustive.
The Round Fourteen question will be...
Name a cricketer who has played for two or more national teams.
(If you have any question about what constitutes a national team, ask me by PM. My definition is more liberal than the ICC's)
The Round Fifteen question will be...
Name a player from the legendary 2005 Ashes series.
Must have appeared in a playing XI. Gary Pratt doesn't count.
1. Victor Trumper
2. Brendan McCullum
3. Ian Chappell
4. Dean Jones
5. Greg Chappell
6. Trevor Chappell
7. Tom Cooper
8. Nat Sciver
9. Jofra Archer
10. Phil Edmonds
11. Allan Donald
As per the rules of the draft, Adam Gilchrist becomes ineligible.
All of which means the teams now look like...
Ted Dexter Sourav Ganguly Tom Graveney Clive Lloyd Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Ben Foakes Mitchell Johnson Shane Warne Andy Roberts Shaun Tait Ken Graveney
Archie Jackson Javed Miandad Steve Waugh Meg Lanning Imran Khan Shaun Pollock Curtly Ambrose

The Round Sixteen question will be...
Name a player with an alliterative given and surname.
For example, "Steve Smith" or "Malcolm Marshall".
The Round Seventeen question will be...
Name a player who never played Test, ODI or T20I cricket.
The Round Eighteen question will be...
Pick a player with at least four initials. NHCJ Theunissen would be one such example.
The Round Nineteen question will be...
Name a player who is from a country you've not tried to pick anybody from yet.
Countries that change name ("Rhodesia" to "Zimbabwe" and "Ceylon" to "Sri Lanka" are the main ones) count as the same country.
There are so many options for these categories that we might end up either finishing or very nearly finishing the draft here. Good luck everyone!
Also, @blockerdave please can you put your team in batting order at your earliest convenience? Many thanks!
Well, Ed Smith-style I've ended up with a poorly balanced team with no openers. What I do have over Ed the plagiarist, however, is a world class keeper and a bowling attack that will rip teams to shreds...
So, I will go with:
1) Tom Graveney (he was really a number 3/4, but he did open occasionally)
2) Rachael Heyhoe-Flint (Again a middle order player but she was a brilliant bats(wo)man so I'm backing her
3) Ted Dexter
4) Sourav Ganguly
5) Clive Lloyd (c)
6) Ben Foakes (wk)
7) Ken Graveney
8) Mitchell Johnson
9) Andy Roberts
10) Shane Warne
11) Shaun Tait
Brutal bowling attack. Strong top-order. Lots of leadership/tactical input. Top 6 will have to bat well, but that's a tail that can wag too.
Given the nature of the draft I'm not unhappy with that.
