@Aislabie

Point of clarification, if a player was born in a country that didn’t have test status at the time, but now does... albeit he played for another country altogether before they had test status, is he allowed?

Specifically what if that country no longer exists and it’s their “successor” country that achieved test status?

I confess I hadn't really thought that through, but I'm going with countries that have never played Test cricket. So Eoin Morgan (Tests for England, born in a pre-Test Ireland) would not be valid

Round One Picks

Test cricketers born in non-Test nations.

@blockerdave - :eng: Ted Dexter (born in Italy)
@CerealKiller - :aus: Archie Jackson (born in Scotland)
@Rebel2k19 - :wi: George Headley (born in Panama)
@Sinister One - :wi: George Headley (born in Panama)
@Survivor - :eng: Phil Edmonds (born in Zambia)
@VC the slogger - :wi: George Headley (born in Panama)
@Villain - :wi: George Headley (born in Panama)

So, in line with the rules of the Quiz Draft, all four participants who picked George Headley will receive no player for this round of the draft.

If @blockerdave @CerealKiller or @Survivor wishes to profile their players, I will link that in the index.

The Round Two question will be...

Name a player whose highest One-Day International score is higher than their highest Test score.

As always, please answer by PM. Thank you!

I knew it, lol. Although my other pick was Dexter so no hard feelings. :p[DOUBLEPOST=1566129572][/DOUBLEPOST]

This will have many options, nice.

Round Two Picks

Cricketers with higher ODI scores than Test scores

@blockerdave - :aus: Shaun Tait (Test 8 / ODI 11)
@CerealKiller - :saf: Shaun Pollock (Test 111 / ODI 130)
@Rebel2k19 - :aus: Shane Watson (Test 176 / ODI 185*)
@Sinister One - didn't reply
@Survivor - :ind: Kapil Dev (Test 163 / ODI 175*)
@VC the slogger - :ind: Kapil Dev (Test 163 / ODI 175*)
@Villain - didn't reply

So, in line with the rules of the Quiz Draft, both participants who picked Kapil Dev will receive no player for this round of the draft. Sinister One and Villain also miss out after going over 24 hours without making their picks.

The Round Three question will be...

Name a player who shares a surname with a British Member of Parliament (see link).

I will probably accept players whose surnames are homophones that differ only slightly in spelling, but feel free to check by PM. Thank you!

Hmmm... I’m sure there’s a variant pronunciation somewhere whereby “Johnson” is pronounced “Bradman”
