it would be interesting to know if headingley or old trafford is happier about the test switch.

australia v pakistan is quite high profile, much bigger than england v bangladesh, but still, it doesn't involve the home country. and expecting the pakistan contingent to make hosting it financially viable after already staging 4 tests against england might be pushing it.

I think most pak fans in england would rather see england play pakistan than australia.

The Pakistan v Australia games have to be priced very decently, especially the game at Lord's.

Pakistani fans will not show up if it costs more than 50 quid a ticket like it usually does at Lord's.

I'm curious yet worried about how the D/N test will go. I still don't think the ECB or ICC don't have sufficient enough tests to see if the pink ball will be visible under lights.

It'll just be weird seeing players in whites blocking under lights IMO. Usually that's the time that the batsman are having a go or the bowlers are really mixing it up in the ODIs or T20s.

Just feels weird. I might have to watch it first before making a judgment though.

4 games in London!! lucky :P

the poms vs bangladesh game at lords would be day night aite?

i reckon hey should make the aus-pal game at lords a day nighter, seems like a perfect oppurtunity to try out a new idea!

Lord's get 3 tests next summer. Well done in spreading the capital outside of the capital!

Sorry to let you know, England have dropped their plans for hosting a day-night Test after Durham and Worcestershire refused to co-operate - Click here

Well maybe the pink balls should be trialed out here in Australia in the Sheffield Shield competition. I remember them trialing day/night shield games back in the mid 90s and I think they used both yellow and orange balls in them but eventually they scrapped it. maybe they should try it again with the pink balls.
