still waiting for help. I can't seem to seam or swing with edited EXE patches.
First off, I have not made any changes to the swing/fast/off/leg config in this release. The following are the changes that have been made in the exe :
1. The ability to play any shot from anywhere in the crease is disabled, this will prompt the user to play the right shot always otherwise you cannot simply middle the ball.
2. The ball marker is disabled which will simply force the user to play the shot without knowing prior where the ball is going to be pitched. The ball marker will be shown just before the delivery of the ball hence the proposition of moving before the ball being delivered will not be effective.
3. The config files I have sent to compliment the above mentioned changes have been changed by me currently and to find the right values it takes a bit of testing. The test config was tweaked to make sure that run scoring will not be at unrealistic pace.
Apart from the above I cannot recall making any changes though it might seem that the ball swings/seams a bit more than before. This might be due to the canning of sliding to play the shot.
Also I dont use the same exe to bowl though, I have a different exe tweaked for bowling in ODI and tests. In the ODI exe the CPU batsman being able to read the swing before the ball being delivered is disabled hence results in hits and misses by the CPU batsman. At the same time the CPU batting is made more agressive, they will always be on lookout for runs prompting field changes, bowling changes et al from the human player. I can go on writing but there is no point unless you guys try out the other exes. Ritwik if your mailid can take up to 3mb I dont mind mailing it to your email id.
