Editing the Game - Consoles

sounds good enough to me... did you get to look at the player creation. like can you choose the bowling action etc?

So from the revies out there it seems we can
edit the name of the players in the game,
assign generated faces to the new players
edit team line ups
edit team names
edit team jersey using generated ones

am i right in thinking this?

i would also like to know if
we can change the player type and rating?
is there a quota on the number of player we can edit or create

as for the kits i hope theres enough of the random kit types for us to combine them and create some of the classic team kits.....ie the way it can be done on PES

all this is for the consoles without having to mod any technical database stuff

You can exchange game saves in some PS3 games if the devs allow it. So that solves the names problem.

What sucks is that consoles will not be getting the faces/kits. Oh well.

I would love to see the ability to make completely new kits, not just having to assign an international one like in BLIC.

something like 5 different patterns to choose from and be able to pick the different colours... so you could make something like the ipl if you wanted to

Why the hell do you want to edit the game " a lot"? And no codies wont make add-ons like the IPL. People are quick to jump the gun! :

We've not been able to edit gameplay yet on BLIC (actually Sam managed it for 2005 but didn't pass on the secret!) so fingers crossed as AI patches are what make the EA series last.

He managed to increase the edge probability and change the pacing. He then disappeared without letting on anymore than it involved memory editing of the exe.
I'm sure he posted a tool somewhere so you could always try reverse engineering it.

Its very much possible to edit the gameplay. There are lots of debug strings in BLIC 07 to assist that. I'm hoping they don't remove them for AC09.
