England in Australia

Australia's session.
England will need to bowl well now to comeback.
Australia should now look for around 500 plus.

If these two can get to at least 200 that will give the rest of the guys a solid platform that should help Clarke find his feet again.

Although I am incredibly angry at the inclusion of Giles over Panesar, I think certain things were quite promising during the session. Hoggard's first spell and Freddie imparticular. All it takes it a couple of quick wickets and we are on top.

Problem is Jim its a good pitch, the ball is coming off the middle of the bat.
However I do agree Jimmy Anderson bowled pretty well, as well as Flintoff and Hoggard but we need to be consistent or Australia will get away from us.

He did mention that, he said England played great cricket. Australia played bad. Therefore his saying England outplayed Australia.

I don't see why in different locations in Australia it would reverse swing as the pitch has no bearing on the swing and they'll be a Kookaburra ball being used not a Duke's ball.

They could get exposed.

His more of an inspiration then a leader. If anything I think his bowling will go fairly alright. I think his batting will struggle, maybe the same thing could happen with Pietersen... I think Strauss will bat well though.

What has he got to prove? His proven over the last year to perhaps be one of the best batsman in the world; maybe even the best!

His been playing cricket for what? 20 odd years? I think he would have come to grips with Australian conditions by now seeing as he is an Australian.

Why not? It just keeps getting worse for England and Australia have proven as keen as ever. Australia have won 11 of their last 12 matches, there is no reason why they can't do the same to England.

I actually agree with you. Even though I think it's spelt 'Clark'.

pitch has also a bearing in reverse swing in sub continent wher the pitches are abrasive in nature they do reverse swing in pakistan they use a kookabura ball also and they pioneer reverse swing

hussey has played 11 tests only there have been batsman who start very well like clarke but when there weakness comes out every body will work on it specially in test cricket and he is far of being the best batsman in tests he is no where near.

By mcgrath i meant seam movement if first session is any thing to go by there wont be much swing or seam and he maty struggle with his pace but saying this he has always proved us wrong
:D :D

And sorry for clarke though both are useless :D

No it doesn't. Reverse swing is all about the ball condition. Pitches have no bearing on any swing.

Who says his like Clarke though? His a different batsman, at a different age and has a chunk load more experience then what Clarke has.

Big wicket for Flintoff gets Langer caught cutting but hes more than done his job. He needs support from the other end though. I would say the runs should dry up though as Langer was the aggressor.
