ZIMBABWE LOST A HEAP OF WICKETS AS THEY TRY TO ACCELERATE

img2.jpg

Zimababwe need 18 runs of the final over with a wicket in hand to win the game. They lost a flurry of wickets are they tried hitting the balls out of the park. The England bowlers led by Flintoff and Simon Jones were backed really well by the fielders.

After I post my final results any members can post press conferences,or interviews or even start the prematch talk and chat for the next England game(which would be against Australia).

ENGLAND WIN AS ZIMBABWE COLLAPSE IN THE END

England won reasonably comfortably against Zimbabwe although they would not be entirely pleased with their performance. They need to pull their socks up if they want to keep winning.Their next game is against the dominating Aussie's who have already defeated India coming into the match.

Andrew Flintoff was adjudicated Man of the Match

ANY MEMBER MAY START THE ENG-AUS MATCH BY SIMPLY STARTING A 20-20 match, and just posting a 5 over update along with pictures interviews etc.And please dont forget to post the mch file.

Good evening to all, im Jarl and before the match here gets under way i was able to catch up to the one and only Andrew Flintoff

Jarl: Good evening Andrew

Flintoff: Evening Jarl

Jarl: Just like to congradulate you on your MOTM award againts Zimbabwe the other night.

Flintoff: Well thanks, it was a good effort buy the boys, but we were not up to the type of standard we set our selves for, so it would be nice to get one up on the aussies here tonight.

Jarl: Well there is a few key players out of the aussie squad tonight, Ghilchrist, mcgrath and hayden, whats your thoughts on that.

Flintoff: The Australian side is always going to be tough dosnt matter who is playing for them, they have the most depth of any country, so i'll be looking forward to the challenge.

Jarl: Thankyou Andrew and Good luck

Flintoff: Thanks.

Final Thoughts
England come into this game with a balanced team with bat and ball, as Australia have had some unexspected injuries, and look like a very strong batting atack.

England has won the toss and elected to bowl.

After 5 overs Australia are 1/50

Harmisson broke through early with the wicket of Mike Hussey who has opend the batting tonight, but then it got worse from then, as ponting came to the crease and hit a quick 32, with this strong batting attack it looks like England might have alot of work to keep the Aussie at a reachable total.

After a good start the Aussies faltered badly, loosing 5 wickets for 36 runs. harmison claimed a wicket on the first ball of the 5th over, clean bowling Jaques. The Aussies then collapsed, trying to slog every ball which ended up leaving them in very serious trouble....
