That's a good idea actually, but if they got too much talent (like they are getting Indian internationals) it might embarrass The Hundred. That's unacceptable.
I expect most/all of the matches will be free on YouTube too.
Pretty much what I thought, the ECB might worry about it eating into The Hundred’s glam.
I do think there will be plenty of fringe Indian internationals who would be very keen on the tournament though. You get to play a bit of county cricket in addition to the List A competition and gain overseas exposure that the current crop do lack in comparison to the past stars of Indian cricket. This would help them gain access to international games given how much India seem to play these days.
This also further supplants my theory that India could be the Brazil of the cricket world with an actually strong league to retain the best talent too if they wouldn’t be so worried about NOCs for overseas T20 leagues.
