After I exited a game I got a message on the screen:
ALERT
Error reading save data (SAVE_UNKNOWN_ERROR)
What would you like to do?
CANCEL SIGN IN
CREATE NEW DATA
I tried restarting a couple of times but the message kept showing (I am signed into PSN). I opted for cancel sign in to see what options it gave me and it's now started everything from scratch. This includes squads, XP and settings, however I still have my autosave data for my career (thank god!) and last competition I played.
Is there any way of restoring the settings and squads to before the crash? Will be a massive pain to update all the squads, custom line ups and logos again.
