@Naman Thakur & @Bilal45 you need to release players before 12:00 pm IST tomorrow (28/10)... Once that time pass, you can't release players anymore...
Would like to keep the same team, thank you.

Shubman Gill
Vijay Shankar
Mayank Markhande

:eng: :bat: Sam Hain ($0.25m)
:wi: :ar: Yannick Ottley ($0.25m)
:afg: :bwl: Amir Hamza Hotak ($0.50m)

Okay, so these probably seem like some quite off-the-wall picks, but I'm going for the moneyball approach. Let me explain.
  • Sam Hain is easily the best List A batsman in the world not currently playing One-Day Internationals. His batting average of 68.81 and strike rate of 88.22 give him an astronomical batting rating of 607. If he showed anything like that form in ODIs, we're talking GOAT numbers.
  • Yannick Ottley is to List A bowling what Sam Hain is to List A batting. His bowling average of 14.90 and economy rate of 3.38 give a bowling rating of 84. For some context, Rashid Khan's career List A rating is 96.
  • Amir Hamza Hotak is one of Afghanistan's less talked-about spinners, but his ODI numbers are absolutely not to be sniffed at. Since the last Cricket World Cup, he is the world's sixth-most effective ODI bowler (rating 168), behind Rashid Khan (94), Mujeeb ur-Rahman (122), Mustafizur Rahman (154), Kuldeep Yadav (156) and Jasprit Bumrah (165). And he is a comparative steal at half a million dollars. He has fallen out of favour behind Rashid and Mujeeb, but is still a top-class operator.

Shubman Gill
Vijay Shankar
Mayank Markhande
If Shubman Gill is invalid, I'll go with Hashim Amla.

Gill, Shankar and Markhande had a great Deodar Trophy this seasons as they were consistent with their performances.

Why aren't they picked by the selectors of their national team?
