Alu Gobi is the best!
Jalebi with milk is the absolute best. I used to have it for breakfast.
Most of the dishes mentioned in this thread are also Pakistani dishes. Having eaten at Indian restaurants before I think the only real difference is the spices being used.
BTW, if anyone is ever near Lahore, be sure to take a trip down Food Street. I hear its food heaven over there. You can sit at any restaurant and order from another one and they'll go get it for you.
I love...PAv bhajji, Gulab jamun(eat them a lot), all paneer and mushroom dishes......especially paneer mushroom kadai. South indian includes.....all thier items especially BISHIBILLIANNA.
Roadside: All available in mumbai....chat items.....VADA PAV
And being a brahmin...even i eat some specific non-veg stuff...like only pomphret fish...and chicken![]()
I am a Veggie so I mostly like Pav Bhaji, Wada Pav, Bhel, Pani Puri, Dosa / Uttapa and in desert I like Rasmalai, Kaju Katli, Kalakand etc and as for spicey snacks I really love Chitale Bakarwadi its the best. If you ever visit pune don't forget to taste Chitale Bakarwadi.
I am too a brahmin but I am a Veggie but don't worry handsome most brahmins eat non-veg these days.
