Recently I have been listening to a lot of comedians and have to say Kevin Bridges is growing on me. I have always loved Dara O'Brien as he is Irish and generally very good, you feel a sense of connection with his jokes.

On the bollywood side, There are few that are consistantly good. Leaving out Comedy circus no other program provides with the comedy that is lacking on televison nowadays, unlike English comedy who have programs like, QI, Graham Norton Show, Live at the Apollo, Micheal Mcintyres comedy roadshow and many more

Who is your favorite comedian?

Comedy Circus is getting worse season after season. And on the top of it, the whole environment doesn't come up as something natural to me - not comedy for the sake of humor and having a bit of fun, but more like doing it because they have got nothing else to do. I know it's their bread and butter, and to many comedians probably the only thing to do, but still, it gets so exasperating as well as sad at times...

Absolutely. Laughter Challenge, the very first one where Sunil Pal won, was the only proper comedy show that was ever there here. After that, it has all been falling flat with no sense. People talk utter rubbish and someone like Sidhu or Archana laugh like the way they do and seem absolute idiots.

Did you hear any of his appearances on Fighting Talk? Very close to the knuckle haha

Yeah funny guy. My mate was going on about him so I checked him out. He's funny :p

Good ol' fighting talk. Who's your favourite guests?

Generally anything with Bob Mills is guaranteed to be a laugh :p

Louis CK is a good one.

George Carlin and Mitch Hedburg have loads of good material too

Don't watch much stand-up at all really, been meaning to get into it for quite a while.

So on the basis of knowing very few comedians, Russell Peters.

I only recently discovered mitch hedberg and I think he's outstanding.

I like stewart lee and daniel kitson. going over to the fringe in august and kitson's sold out, I've seen Lee's show earlier this year and hedberg is dead so a tour is unlikely. so no idea who I'm going to actually go to.

In the first few seasons they had shakeel (if you remember him) was my favourite still, he was the most professional in my mind.

Have anyone watched Reginald D Hunter, I thinking off going to watch him at the Hammersmith Apollo. He is ?30, but i want to know whether its worth it. He seems ok on youtube but i needed some other views.

Yes, he was good. But, as seasons went, all the jokes were more of vulgar. That's what put me off these comedy shows.

Fighting Talk got mentioned up above. If anyone want's to check it out, this is an archive of all of them -
Fighting talk files

It's a radio show with either comedians or sports people involved. I'd recommend only getting ones with MURRAY as presenter, and also getting any that have MILLS, BRADY, WEHN or ANDERSON on it. Even if you don't live in England, if you have any interest in British sport they chat about the up-coming week and points get awarded for being funny, interesting or just for delivering some fighting talk.

Good to have on :)
