Still, Happy Diwali. Gotta get back to pretending to be doing homework, otherwise my mom will make me do more diwali cleaning...

Happy Diwali guys (for me, its still few more hrs till diwali officially ends!)
I terribly miss the sound of fireworks, and that too lighting my own fireworks. Here in the US, they dont sell anything apart from the sparklers which are so much for the "1-5yr olds". And here, you can only see people light fireworks during the night of July 4 (USA Independence Day) and that too you got to go to some common place where everyone would sit down, and you just see the sky becoming colorful with those fireworks.
My favorite firework is the "10,000 wallahs" (a cracker that has 10,000 small crackers attached together that once set off explode for close to 1-2 mins continuously!). Among the soft ones, the flower pots are the best. I am planning to celebrate my next yr Diwali in India so that I get to enjoy all these fun!
