Had an amazing match in the knockout stages in CL. AC Milan were leading by 0-3 till 80th Minute, final scoreline came out to be Man Utd 3-4 Milan. Lost the match but nevermind had a thriller considering technically I had 2-3 minutes to score the rest (I was playing 20 minutes full match). Might retry that match again, don't want Utd to get eliminated so early in the game atleast

Nah mate, suck it up - you're out of the cup: accept it and move on. I think reloading important matches is a good way to spoil Career Mode.

Never really understand the point of resetting when you don't win. Where's the tension and joy of winning if you're only ever going to win?

Because it was iust a testing match. I never really played it in serious mode. I was playing more of my reserved team. I know this may sound lame excuse to you but if you still think that's not fair, I'll right way start where I left off. I don't really reload saves unless it's Power Cut or some bug issue. Career Mode is way too long to repeat the matches. Anyways, I don't have problem starting the Career Mode right from CL defeat but it was more like experimental match. I haven't played since then so what do you think, should I continue where I left off?

Yep, agreed 100%. Still, everyone's paid their money so they can play as they see fit, but if you want any tension in your matches then I would just accept all results as they happen.

Had a season go down to the wire last night and missed out on the title by one sodding point to Arsenal (as Leeds). I believe I'm about to enter my final season now, but before that am going great guns in the World Cup with Italy. Belgium next in the second round.

It's that Fifa thing where you press the button, but instead of listening to what you said, the player just lets the ball bounce off him.

You've to wait until he starts to run slowly and then press the circle button , I'm brilliant at defending , that's why I concede less goals , I recently defeated Atletico Madrid : 10-5 , Chelsea 6-3 and Bayern Munich 7-2 in professional difficulty .

Professional difficulty is too easy. All you have to do is pass even in the penalty box and you're all set for another goal.

I just underestimated them , I was tired , you know that I belived after scoring 5-0 that I'll win and I took them easy after that....

Yeah talk about World Class then , I lost from Atletico Madrid 3-1 as Bayern , Rib?ry did what he could , Falcao got lucky there even I lost from them as Real Madrid 3-1 same result . They just don't get tackled in World Class , it's so hard to do it unless Ramos steps in doing it .

A lot of goals in CM and online are scripted though, that's the problem. Chances are, MB, that the goal you conceded was scripted. I believe kick-off is the only pure game mode and maybe BaP.

It's meant to add extra tension, and it does, but it ruins the game really, I still love FIFA and will still play it but I'd rather scripting wasn't present.

That's why often your defenders will just be rooted to the spot, or your world class keeper will concede a weak 30 yard shot. Ever noticed a team getting two or three shots on goal and scoring off all of them?

When it's clear scripting that's caused me to lose I might restart the career if I feel hard done by, otherwise I'll just keep going, no need to be unbeaten to reach your goals.

As for difficulty, professional is probably fairest but it's just too easy. Problem is along with getting a lot tougher at world class and legendary, the AI also gets a lot more cheap and there seems to be more scripting, sometimes you don't have a chance of touching the opposition in one of their unstoppable passing moves.

I don't really buy into the whole scripting thing: it's happened all over the pitch as well as in the goal area: sometimes the ball just bounces off the player, despite you pressing a button that should result in a one touch strike. I'd also add that I'm now in my fifteenth year and that's actually the first goal I've conceded in that manner that I can remember.

Professional is far too easy - in fact I think EA have borked the difficulty levels in this game more than usual. Professional feels like amateur to me.

Agreed , there aren't just the right difficulties for me . Professional is too easy as everyone knows where as world class is just as same as we can increase our passing accuracy , shooting accuracy etc.... the computer does it for itself , it seems like that world class difficulty is amateur for the computer so , that's why I play in professional difficulty because it's the fairest one .
