I'm currently in the January transfer window and I have a few players wanting to leave despite the fact that we are 20 points clear in the league and are in the semi's of the league cup! Wish EA would sort this out.

Beckford - My number 1 striker was out of contract and has signed a deal with Lorient to join them at the end of the season so he has been demoted to the reserves for his lack of commitment.

Ream - Is 'homesick' yet he'll quite happily move a few miles down the M6 to Derby This game does make me laugh sometimes.

Medo - lack of 1st team action so wants to move.

Lee Keun Ho - Signed on a freebie wants to leave because lack of 1st team football but now Beckford is leaving i'll give him more game time.

Vela - Has changed his mind on leaving and now wants to stay

It makes you wonder what these people gain from having to be #1, whether they achieve it genuinely or not. Pathetic really.

In other news, me and my mate were corner flagging holding on to a 2-1 win in division 9 of Pro Clubs yesterday. We suck.

Well, I took it as a challenge to get the #1 score so I guess that's pathetic Was mainly just because I got fairly close on one of my first tries in which I made plenty of mistakes, so I knew I would be able to manage it without too much trouble. I quite enjoy competing with friends on leaderboards in games for scores/times which is why I liked Trials Evolution so much... I guess it's a throwback to the Megadrive days where competing for "high scores" was the main factor in the replayability of a game. Global leaderboards though tend to be a complete farce, and I'm not that fussed by them.

My Pro still sucks in Clubs - need to play some drop-in matches to get some accomplishments I guess, but they tend to be a big waste of time.

I wasn't saying you were pathetic, but reading my post back it does sound like that. I was saying that that guy simply has to be #1 so badly that he cheated to get it.

Have you gone into the catalogue and purchased all the boosts you can for your Pro? My guy is an 83 and we've only been playing for 2 weeks.

Yeah I've got all of the boosts I can, but I'm only level 15 so there's loads of them I haven't unlocked yet I'm doing the "highlights of the week" things which seem to be the most productive for XP, but there's a daily cap and it's hard to reach it anyway most of the time. My player is a 79 but feels much worse to control than my players in Ultimate Team. I suppose it could be the added lag from having many more people connected in Clubs matches.

I'm a level 86 but then I buy Fifa every year.

Pro Clubs is a mode with so much potential but because EA don't make any extra money out of it (like they do with Ultimate Team) it gets neglected. The worst thing with it, when there are only two Pros in the team, is how rubbish the other players are.

The only one I bought since this XP system was brought in was FIFA 13, and I didn't play enough of it to make it worth linking the account so started from scratch. I guess I'll be in a better position for future iterations but the daily cap means it will take ages to get most of these boosts.

Clubs is great, best part of the game IMO.

Played some Seasons tonight - my local team Coventry City are actually great on this FIFA for their rating. Plenty of pace all over the pitch, particularly Simeon Jackson who has been a goal machine for me. Also played some manual Seasons games with Southampton and Swansea and had some great matches...

By far the best FIFA yet in my opinion. Will be starting a Career mode when the ModdingWay mod is released .

But don't get screwed over. If he's asking for too much, just let him go. You can cash in on him and get a replacement.

Also, a tip of mine when buying players- ignore the chief executive's comments about how much you should bid, dig your heels in. I usually offer about £2m under his market value, then £1m under, then £500,000 under before matching his market value. After that I increase the offer by £1m each time until the bid is accepted. You'll be surprised how often I get players at near their market values.

As well as that if you are quite a prestigious club - so not Bolton obviously (sorry, couldn't resist) - when buying players, offer them about £10,000 less than they are currently on. Quite a lot of the time they will accept a pay cut to come and play for you.

I normally let them go. Why should I keep someone who doesn't want to be at my club, I don't care how good they are.

PS: Signed McGoldrick from Ipswich (best team in East Anglia ) on a freebie Transfer doesn't go through until end of the season though.

Had some great matches recently. I beat Man Utd at home and then drew at Old Trafford in the semi's of the League Cup (Man City in the final now)...And I also snatched a replay off Arsenal in the FA Cup at the Emirates courtesy of a 90th minute goal

I'm still 20 odd points clear at the top of the Championship

Wow Regens have faces now! Found the regen player of Ibra, named Asmir Stakovic, 76 rated and Toulesse made me pay 30 mil, I thought regens were OP this year with a great overall, 76 is great for his age but 30 mil!
