FOOTBALL Fifa 15/16

The Premier League's match presentation looks really slick, even the little image of the commentators at the start are a nice touch.

FIFA has pretty much always been the epitome of 'all-style-no-substance' and that gameplay looks very similar to previous years. Not too impressed.

This time around there are very few significant gameplay changes if any.

When that happens it's always my favourite as way more attention goes into things like improving the game modes which is way more useful.

For me, the gameplay didn't need much changing. Either way, you can't tell a thing just by watching two guys play, who were most likely playing on assisted as well which always lends a faster less realistic pace to things. If Fifa was locked to assisted controls, I wouldn't bother with it - I have played assisted after playing manual and it's like playing two different games.

And here it is. User vs. AI

It looks great visually - I wouldn't put too much stock in that AI. Going by the way the AI is unable to keep up with the players on the human controlled team, I'd say it's on amateur or semi pro. Dunno why they always set these videos on the difficulties that make the game look like arcade garbage! And I have to give a special mention to the guy playing the AI - he's terrible. The AI is clearly on a very low level as you can tell by how slow the AI are running and he's being taken apart. Ha ha!

Sweet new multi player celebration around 19 minutes in! Scoring goals is actually going to feel satisfying now!

I like the look of how they're doing the highlights this year - they might even be worth watching at last.

Back with Fifa 11, EA gave the PC the new engine but not the new game, which they finally did in Fifa 12 - rest assured, that is definitely not going to happen with Fifa 15. I can't remember which video mentioned it but the presenter was saying the game's out on PS4 and Xbox One - only for the EA guy to interject and add 'PC as well - it's exactly the same game on the PC this year'.

Yay! :D

Except it'll be better than 'exactly the same' due to mods, graphics, performance and all the other niceties that come with PC gaming :). Hopefully it will be possible to pick this up for a reasonable price... FIFA 14 was like £40 on Origin nearly all year.

Of course...how could I forget about the PC mods ha ha!

And yeah, I don't like this recent trend of Fifa coming out at £30+ on the PC! It used to be about £24.99!! Even the CD Key places seem to have it at rip off prices.

Amazon is the best price I've seen so far - a still pretty high £35. The hell with buying it from Origin - that's always rip off city!

Edit: This is the best price I've seen just for the CD Key, which if it's reliable is the best way to do things as the box never has anything worthwhile in it these days anyway!

Search results for: 'fifa 15'

Have you ever got a game via a CD Key before - had any issues with it? They are completely legal, aren't they? Trustpilot gave the site 9.8 across 984 reviews if that's of any relevance. However, as is always my way, no pre order until I've tried a demo.

I'll shop around come release and see if I stumble upon an offer somewhere for it... I want the game but £35+ is pretty steep when I'm not even sure I'll like it that much. The demo will likely decide which side of the fence I'll be on.

I could probably do without it anyway - I've fallen out of love with football a bit recently. The World Cup this summer was fantastic to watch, but the demise of my hometown club Coventry City into a laughing stock as well as the absurd money involved, play acting and chav culture that surrounds football turning me away from it. As a sport I love to play it and appreciate/understand the tactical side, but in general I prefer cricket/tennis these days tbh...

What is a cd key ? and how does it work ??
