Rory Bellchambers After Match Press Conference​

Reporter: Rory first off, what went wrong today?

Rory Bellchambers: Well to be brutally honest we just weren't totally prepared today and our opposition just absoulutly jumped on that.

Reporter: Are you dissapointed in the teams performance?

Rory Bellchambers: A bit, but at the end of the day its just a preseason match and the main thing is that we got to try some young players out at this level, like Jacky, Dangerfield and Walker.

Reporter: Are you happy with how those guys went today?

Rory Bellchambers: Definatly. All those guys showed that they had what it takes to performe at the top level and hopefully those guys will get more oppertunity in the proper season.

Reporter: What about Andrew Mcloed? He had a poor game today, so what do you make of that?

Rory Bellchambers: Well he struggled today but dont forget its only a preseason game and I'm sure Andrew will be right come the start of the season.

Collingwood Smash Crows In Pre Season Cup​

The Adelaide Crows have suffered an 81 smashing defeat at the hands of an impressive Collingwood in their Pre Season Opener. The win leaves new caoch Rory Bellchambers with alot of work ahead of him before their opening clash against the Western Bulldogs in three weeks time.

Reporter: Tough day out there today?

Rory Bellchambers: Mate, coaching is a tough job wether your 10 goals down or 10 goals up, let me tell you.

Reporter: What went wrong today?

Rory Bellchambers: They were just too good for us today, they are a very good football side and they showed us. I was proud of the way our guys fought until half time, but at the end of the day they were just too good for us?

Reporter: Where does this loss put you in terms of your season?

Rory Bellchambers: Its only Round 1, there is still another 21 games to go, and even if we lose our next game, then we will still be fighting for a spot in the finals.

Reporter: There were definatly some good signs in that first half though, wasn't there?

Rory Bellchambers: Definatly. Our young guys showed they could match it with the best and our older guys stood up and lead the way
