PlanetCricket is going to XenForo!

Use this thread for any questions you may have about the transition.

You can take a look at a test site at http://testing.planetcricket.org/forums/ - noting that attachments, PMs and a few other things were not moved onto the testing site that will be moved when we make the final move.

I am planning to make the shift this weekend - so the forum will be unavailable for a period of time.

Very much so.

It's going to be a lot of work making the move, but I'm confident the site will be much better off for it.

This is the only one thing we're not too confident about, since there isn't a ready replacement available. We're looking at how soon it can be ported.
Losing FC wouldn't be a big miss, considering we're getting a brand new forum software, which is much more robust than the current one.

Obviously we can read a tutorial - we'd be trying to find someone who is experienced in developing for it.
