It is a global setting in vBulletin.

Or can't we just move the code in the skins to look like the other one? Well what I mean basically is, create a new skin and replace the code in the postbit legacy template of only that skin? Could be a lot of effort but could produce some good results.

Yes, that could be done, but it involves doubling the already large amount of skins (and then doing double the amount of modification work every time we want to change things). Personally I think the horizontal postbit makes posts too big and therefore because I don't like it I won't be doing the work to change it. If you can convince another admin to do it it might be a possibility.

Lol no worries. Its not that big of a worry. Though it could be implemented in only one skin for a test if people would like it.

one thing that is bugging me is that there is no number on each post in every thread, its good to know what post number it is in each thread.
