"Former England and Yorkshire fast bowler Fred Trueman has died at the age of 75 after a battle with lung cancer,"

"Trueman was the first bowler to claim 300 test wickets,"

A real hero of a past time when english cricket was blooming, will be really missed by England fans and Yorkshire fans, and im sure Lancashire fans aswell.

I remember telling my Dad about Fred Trueman's cancer a few months ago, and how sad he was. This is such bad news.

A classic Trueman quote for you to enjoy.

"An English spin bowler is like a tie. It adds an air of respectability, but performs no actual function."

A great bowler, one of the best.

I can't stand Boycs though. That interview..

Rest in peace, sir.

He was a great player. I feel really sad.

A legend, one of the greatest English and the World's fast bowlers of all time, probably, and in my opinion the best English one of all time.

I never seen him play, but what is written tells me all!
