well, one i like is 1l.com. Its completely free, and has some amazing features but the old server was let down by dodgy uptime (nowhere near the 99.99% promised) and bad support (24/7 apparently).

I personally use www.freewebtown.com, it has ftp, no ads and a bunch of other stuff, athough the bandwith limit is a bit low at 2gb (it used to be 250mb) but is enough for a low traffic site
