FTP: From the Pavilion general chat

I guess fielding is really important this season. 5 of those 7 wickets were talent triggers. Keeper had a great game. Scored more than run a ball 39 and then effected 5 dismissals (3 catches, 2 stumpings):thumbs

Graham Phillips has decided to retire at the age of 34 following his teams' 134 run victory over the Gremlins CC today, as the English pace bowler took 4/45, while Victor Omara scored 121, his second One Day century.

Graham Phillips had 198 club SOD wickets prior to the match and had already stated his intentions of giving up cricket once he passed 200, and 400 for his career. His career at Hedger's Team started long ago, over 6 seasons ago, signing for a fee of $95,720 with already 200 career wickets. He made a strong impression in his opening season, with 22 wickets @ 9.41 in 9 games. In season 9, he topped the wicket charts by a long way, taking 39 wickets @ 15.31, playing in every match. He reached those heights again the following season with 41 wickets @ 16.54. Season 11 wasn't as impressive but still was great, being our leading wicket taker with 34 wickets @ 17.91. Season 12 was his most disappointing season though as he only managed 18 wickets @ 27.11 with best figures of 3/20. His age was starting to show, again only managing 15 wickets the following season but he continued to fight for his place in search for 400 career wickets. He hit back well, although not the leading wicket taker, picking up 28 wickets @ 18.68, leaving him 2 short of 400 career wickets. 1 wicket came in his first 2 matches of the season, including a pavilion cup match but he finished off his career on a very high note, taking 4/45 to pass 400 career wickets, and 200 wickets for the club.

He made 197 career senior OD appearances, scoring 579 runs off exactly 1000 balls and 402 wickets @ 17.08. Possessing a deadly bouncer, he was an unbelievable bowler who managed 17 five wicket hauls throughout his career, 49 three wicket innings and best figures of 8-4. His T20 career was also impressive, despite only playing in 3 matches for Hedger's Team, picking up 4 wickets. He proved to be very good in the shorter format of the game for his previous club though, as he managed 107 wickets @ 12.57 in 68 career matches.

Has anyone else had 4 runouts in a over before :facepalm

I thought i had the match in the bag. Two well recognized batsmen were at the crease and just 9 runs to get. Then FTP tweaked up :facepalm
