FTP: From the Pavilion general chat

You'd probably get better youth's through the weekly youth pull (which I hope you new people have been doing) than you would in the transfer market unless you pay a lot of money.

It's probably best to buy cheap players in their low twenties with at least capable bat or bowl. And technique close to that.

Yea I think most people release players at the end of seasons.

What!! Investing in Youth is a good idea. If you want a good youth team, then it is. I've been thinking lately about whether I should sell all my good senior players to free up some wages and get some money and use that money to buy some very good youth players and hopefully gain more of a profit due to not paying as much wages.

Having a good youth team isn't as good as having a good senior team. Players you train up in your youth team won't be nearly as good as players you can buy, at least at the start, because we don't have much invested in academies.

T20 match tomorrow. Decided to put a bowler in at 3, so van Dalen gets a bump up the order. Bit of fun really. If it works, great. If not, no big deal. :D

My supporter's club is ecstatic! :D 603 supporters. Soon they'll be "blowing me kisses" XD

Yea I know, it seems like such a strange thing to have as the top mood of your spectators... I'd rather they were like the Bangladesh supporters were when they won.
