Week 5:
4th of March - One Day Friendly v The Klonameers
We failed to make use of the flat track, and despite plenty of starts, only Ahmed and Cupid made significant scores, 82 and 76 respectively. Some late hitting from van Huffersteijn got us to 9/274. Our bowlers struggled to break through and de Groot was particularly punished. Deasi scored 96* and we lost by 2 wickets
6th of March - T20 League 6.25 v aussie555
A great bowling performance saw us bowl them out for 84 with Thiongo, Kelly and van Hufferstijn taking 3 wickets each. Coleman scored 51* and despite the wicket of Ahmed falling, it was a regulation chase and an easy victory
7th of March - Youth League 6.17 v Broken Bats
A hard pitch gave us a hard time as we only managed to take 4 wickets as our opponents made 4/312, thanks to two centuries. In reply, Ellis made 62, Harvey 63 and Fahey 87* but in the end it wasnt quite enough and we lost by a run
9th of March - One Day League 6.28 v Winners or losers
We lost Coleman first ball but some good scores from Ahmed (49), Cupid (41), Duffy (61), Cooper (57) and Hadad (42*) saw us post a competitive total of 286. We were never a match though and lost by 7 wickets.
Week 5:
4th of March - One Day Friendly v The Klonameers

13th of March - T20 League 6.25 v Union Development
A handful of blistering knocks from from Coleman (53), Cupid (40) and Ngala (46) saw us post 7/182 on a difficult pitch. The pitch suited bowlers and ours took full advantage, with everyone taking at least 1 wicket and Coleman finishing best again with 3/6.
14th of March - Youth League 6.17 v thepowerofkevin
One of the flattest pitches ever, we allowed them to make 2/288 in their 40 overs. However we were obviously the better team, and centuries to Gregory and Irvine saw us win by 6 wickets with an over to spare

The green pitch helped our bowlers restrict them to 9/227, with Coleman taking 3 and van Huffersteijn 2. Riley was terrible
Both our openers failed but 42 to Cupid and 91* to Ngala saw us crawl home by 3 wickets with 12 overs to spare
16th of March - One Day League 6.28 v rippers
The low point of our week. We failed with the bat, with only Duffy and Ngala making double figures, although they both made 40s. Oh and there were 22 extras. We made regular strike with the ball but 158 was never enough of a target.

20th of March - T20 League 6.25 v Storm XV
The top 2 faced off in a battle for supremacy. An unbeaten century for Eccleston saw us on the back foot as they posted 3/192. Coleman, Ngala and Hadad all got starts but the poor showing from the middle order saw us lose by 65.
21st of March - Youth League 6.17 v Rockets21
50s to Gregory, Fahey and Holznagel, plus 45 each for Harvey and Irvine saw us post a formidable 7/334. Some great bowling early on had them on the back foot. Their middle order recovered, but they were never in the hunt and lost by 131 runs. Luiters the best of the bowlers with 4 wickets.

There was a legendary performance that day, although it wasnt from the legends. Our openers gave us a good start, Coleman falling for 40 off 23. Ahmed made it to 52 before falling as well. Cupid then hit 123, and Ngala made 64, then Duffy scored 115* and Hadad's late 47 helped us along to 6/487 in the 50 overs. Thats right, 487. Magoffin was the pick of their bowlers with 3/103. Coleman and Thiongo ripped through the lineup, with only 2 batsmen making double figures, to score of 39. Thiongo finished with 5/24 and Coleman 4/20 as we bowled them out for 90, a whopping 397 run victory.

Week 8
27th of March - T20 League 6.25 v Smashing Sixes
A useful start from our openers but the middle order failed to back it up, collapsing and only 2 more batsmen made double figures, Ngala's 39 and Hadad 38*. Our fast bowlers got smashed and a century to Makinson saw us lost by 5 wickets.
28th of March - Youth League 6.17 v Wangaratta Springboks
Our youth bowlers struggled to take a wicket, but kept the run rate well down as the Springboks made just 3/206 in their 40 overs. Despite Ellis making just 7, Harvey's 88* supported by knocks from Irvine, Gregory and Fahey saw us cruise home by 7 wickets with 13 overs to spare
30th of March - One Day League 6.28 v Bitch Plz
Almost every batsman got a start, but only Ngala went on with it, making 151, and thanks to some valuable tail contributions we made 9/325. An all-round effort from the bowlers with everyone taking a wicket, Thiongo the best with 3, and Luiters took his first Senior team wicket, finishing with 2/52

Week 9: The winning runs gains momentum
13th of April - T20 League 6.25 v The Members
Possibly the flattest track ever. We didnt take a wicket until there was just 6 balls to go. Both openers scored well, one making an unbeaten 120 and the other made 95. An imposing 1/225 stood before us. Then Coleman stood taller. A 45 ball 99 gave us a brilliant start, with Duffy making 81 not out before captain Cupid scored a quickfire 33 to guide us home, victory by 7 wickets with 5 balls to spare.
14th of April - Youth League 6.17 v Rising Nepal
Our opponents never really stood a chance. Their opener Crockett managed a respectable 47, but our bowlers took regular wickets, with some of their batsmen throwing away their wickets. Some half decent contributions from their tail took them past 150, but not by much. Our openers then provided a blistering start, Gregory made 54 before being run out, but Ellis went on to make an unbeaten 79 and was well supported by Harvey as we cruised to a 9 wicket win with more than 18 overs in hand.
16th of April - One Day League 6.28 v Middle Stump
A difficult pitch saw some of our batsmen get bogged down, Ahmed in particular with 69 off 116, and some of our biggest names failing. Duffy scored an aggressive 60, then some very quick and very valuable runs were scored by Hadad (41), Kellly (23), and van Huffersteijn belted some boundaries as we posted a difficult 8/273. Our opening bowlers built pressure with their economy, before the rest cashed in. Kelly tore apart with the top order, taking 3/28 from his 10 overs, then spinner van Huffersteijn and paceman Riley ripped the heart out of the batting. A late partnership gave them some hope, but Riley broke it before van Huffersteijn took 2 late wickets to finish with 4 and secure a 118 run victory.
