TENNIS Full Ace Tennis

The patch notes are at the bottom of the main menu.

I think update was to do with unusual resolutions not working properly and maybe menu page is full screen rather than mirrored

Yeah saw them on opening the game![DOUBLEPOST=1519940560][/DOUBLEPOST]I am getting used to the mechanics a little now....move the player select the shot, place the marker...it all happens quite quickly but if you relax you have more time than you think...was getting everything mixed up because you think you need to aim your shot while you move your player but that don't go! Move to the ball, select the shot aim the marker!

Will try this. I think you are right... I am rushing to do everything at the same time.

Indeed, this is why I suggest people do the tutorials to begin with - take care to read everything carefully, understand how it all works and then improve your execution with practice... You can develop bad habits by just jumping into matches and trying to figure it out yourself - e.g. to begin with I was hitting the prepare button too late, when it should really be the very first thing you do upon seeing the direction of the incoming ball.

Though sometimes, I don't use a prepare button at all - just using the top spin key on it's own performs a kind of block/reach that can help when trying to return big first serves.

Yes! Get in there son! Won my first game....not match...game! Was playing as Nadal against some schmuck from the depths of tennis gutterville but still! Nice, starting to place my shots and develop strategy![DOUBLEPOST=1519943335][/DOUBLEPOST]Have not encountered a single bug or immersion breaking thing whatsoever...none...zilch...none.....it does what it says and it takes you into the sense of being on a tennis court strutting your stuff.....amazing.

Mmmm was an update but i have no idea what??? No info on the steam site....[DOUBLEPOST=1519939179][/DOUBLEPOST]
Yeas....I feel the pain man, I feel the pain.......them who haven't played it as a beginner....they weren't there man, they weren't there!

I was there man! It was 1969.......or maybe 2011. I don't know, it's all a bit hazy. Anyway, I remember the crowd shouting for Federer, Roger! Roger!.........no, wait, I mean for The Dead. Yeh, that's it......Jerry! Jerry! What a great player!

Anyway, the kids today, with their PlayBox and their XStations, don't know what they missed. I remember! At least I do when drugs wear off. Sometimes.

can't win anything. Some nice rallys but not too many points.
Same boat here brother. Need to keep hunting down! I do not mind it as the game will not become boring.

Managed to win a game but not more than one playing as a top ranked player against a bottom ranked one. There are 4 things you need to do for each shot decide postion of player, type of shot, timing of shot and place you want shot to land so it will take time mostly I can do 2-3 of them.the timing to get it from red to green seems the hardest part to get consistently right

It will come and with the hard work the satisfaction; this is the way sport games should be.....start at the very bottom and really have to work your way up....imagine the joy of holding serve, winning a set, getting through the qualifying round.....the rest is but a distant dream on a far away horizon!
Hail he who remains committed and is willing to stumble!

in case you didnt know, a double tap on the button makes a stronger shot, with that i won my first game (the match ended 1-6 0-6...).
