Game running too fast

Hey all
Whenever i play c04, the game just flies! You can hardly see the ball it runs so fast.. thats when my laptop is not plugged in.
When my laptop is, it runs really slow :\
Just wondering if theres anything I can do?
Im on vista. Ive tried a few settings here and there, but still nothing


i was reading somewhere it could be down to the fps
I used fraps and it read around 250 fps
so im wondering if it could be that..
ill try update my drivers now
still nothing, tried v sync.. agh, this is annoying
any help would be greatly appreciated

There's something certainly wrong with the video drivers...
Can't understand why it works fine when plugged in though...

Yeah, its pretty stupid.
And very weird how it runs slow while plugged in lol

Its a dell vostro
pretty new, and quick :\
can play bioshock, that should give you an idea
frame rate is probably about 20 when plugged in

I'm almost 100% certain that the problem was addressed there already.

Yeah
they say to use xspeed, or programmes such as that
problem is they never run on vista
