exactly. This wont really be known until i can test it on many different specs...It would depend on the grunt of the card and the machine. Many games dont run so well on onboard cards, but we'll have to wait and see. Im not making any promises yet, but even if it doesn't run so good, hopefully in 'low graphics mode' it will run ok....but who'd want to play it in 'low graphics mode' ? ;) But seriously, i will put out a list of 'recommended' video cards and pc specs later on.

Yes, i will post some new screenz tonight (probably very late again, still finalising a few things)...but stay tuned...if all goes well then these should be awesome....

LM

Let me see...
GeForce 6200 256Mb ram Fps approx 60

My seven yrs of following hardware experience says
GeForce 5200/5800 128 MB maybe 25-30 fps that too on low setting(I there is one)

On onboard chipsets
Intel -
Well they don't have any chip which supports pixel/vertex shaders 2.0 yet and certainly no performace. So much for "Extreme graphics" label. They only are on low end extreme in my opinion.

ATI-
Highly advance onboard graphic solns.RS480 for AMD is equivalent to nvidia 6200 128MB .(I have it and can run HL on medium at 35 fps):happy

Even ATI Intel soln (RS 400 or was it 420,damm can't rember, haven't touched intel processors for yrs) is far advanced than Intel onboard s***.

LM-have u completed graphics engine?Just curious

(I HATE INTEL.WELL EVERYBODY DOES.)
Check anandteck.com for intel eyeopner.

you're assuming mine is maxing out at 60fps ;-) well, it's not under full load yet - will know when i put multiple models all animating simultaneously...

But yeah, i would say in all reality Intel onboard chips would probably not fare so well, whereas ATI/Nvidia should scrape it in ok, but way too early to tell im afraid...

Graphics engine is mostly done...yet to complete shadows...lighting engine and high rendering should be apparent in today's screenz ;)

LM

Cricket 2005 & BLIC work well on my onboard graphics cards, though with low graphics.

But I dont mind low graphics if the game runs smoothly. :)

I would imagine a quality setting would be the best soloution, if your computer can handle the graphics you could set all the features on, and slowly drop the resource intensive ones on lower end pcs

Guys, slight delay in Friday screenz....should be about 1 hour from now max...

cheers,

LM

Finally!!!

Sorry everyone...i totally underestimated the time it would take to fix up the final things...and then some bugs happened etc etc...anyhoo, all fixed now...here's 1 to whet the appetite...more coming very soon... :happy

LM

ok..some more....there are still a couple of bugs i need to sort out with textures and tweaks etc. (e.g. NonStriker still old model) but really coming along well i think ;)

and some more.....
