Game Screens

The ingame render will of course be different, but the model will be the same..however i believe i can get it looking pretty damn close ;)

plain and simple, if the game will not run steady 60fps then you'll need a better graphics card ;) but i will be using my own pc as a benchmark, and mine's pretty dated now (will be dated for sure by time of release)...i certainly want to make sure i get that quality without performance issues....so ill be optimizing as best i can...unfortunately tho i wont be able to tell you for sure until it's done :)

Very intresed in your comp specs.

P42.6,1Gbram,Nvidia6200(256MB)...if it will run well on mine it should run well on most people with a mid range machine...especially by time of release! ;)

hehe could you possibly make the bat side not to square? and a little bit bowed etc?

bat has since been fixed. :happy

New screens will be next Friday.

LM

LM, you have done a great job so far!

I think Codemasters and EA will work for 5 years to make a good game after playing this game! Kidding.

But, those new models look amazing! You are a genius!

And will you also create low poly models? And will it be able to work on onboard cards? (Cri 2005 & BLIC can be played on onboard cards!)

I have similar but P4 3.0 64 BIT 512ram ATI RADION X600 PRO (256) 19 Inch Flat panel monitor should be great!!!!

it will probley run smooth on low-medium your graphics card is quite dated

ok, been experimenting with smoothing...here's a high qual render with smoothing and shading...(and no extra polys... ;) )

enjoy... ;) and i dont wanna hear any complaints about blockiness!!! :mad

:D

LM

it's Paul, not Phil ;)

um, yeah you're right...my monitors are all screwy...damn...ok, i gotta play with that...
this looks better then players in BLIC and C 2005, best screenshot ever seen.

breakthru!

well well well...

I want to announce that i have made a breakthrough over the last few days....i have managed to get the lighting and shading along with texturing so that the IN GAME models appear (even better IMHO) than that last 'best rendered' pic i posted :)

I was fully blown away by the results, which you guys will have to wait until Friday to see ;) This is truly a massive breakthrough and really increases The Cricket Project's graphical appeal, putting it up there (again IMHO) with EA's graphics (if not better ;) )

And on top of all this, it so far seems to have very little negative effect (if any) on the FPS/perfromance! As long as your graphics card supports vertex and pixel shaders you will be able to enjoy it...most cards in the last couple of years do support this..

:happy

cheers,

LM
