I know this game is old but could someone tell me why the game frezzes.

It would be impossible to answer unless you tell us the following things:
1. The exact situation(or lack thereof) in which the game freezes. Is it happening repeatedly or sporadically.
2. A bit about your computer configuration.
Generally, you can try and reinstall the game, update your graphics/sound drivers or maybe disable your sound device from "device manager" and try to play the game without installing any patch. Doing this will help you to zero in on the problem area(s).

Sorry I use the Gameplay patch V2 and it frezzes when certain shots are played.

I know that the PS2 Version always Jams in loading before batting in a Test.
