French is sh*tie.. I got 8.5 out of 85.. Its hard learning 5 languages at a time.

Are we supposed to multiply 8.5 with 10?

5 languages is too much mate! Is it compulsory? Here in India we have 3 languages: English, A Regional Language, and National Language (Hindi)/Ancient Language (Sanskrit)

I do French, German and English. I am in year 9 and am starting my GCSE's this year after my SAT's....

All in all I know 5 languages, I can only talk 2 fluenty though :p - Gujarati and English...

Am doing Resistant Materials, Business Stud, Geography, Triple Science and rest of the cumpulsory crap (maths,english)...

Lol, when I was about 7 I knew like 6 languages, Hindi, English, Malayalam, Konkani, Kannada, Marathi. Now, a lot has changed.

I've taken Business (main one), Geography and History for my GCSEs. I don't care about Geography and History tbh, I'm really going for that Business GCSE. Geography was only chosen because of the trips, and History is usually very compelling to me, and my teacher was great, so yeah.

Holy crap? any secrets?

Yeh I got 'em this year. Revision really isn't one of my strong points as I get bored really easily, but I know that it will definitely help.

The English exam will be the hardest, and it's the one I desperately need to get a C in. Maths will most likely be a piece of cake. Graphics is pretty much a lottery on how you do. History will be tough, especially the medicine part of it. Science I feel fairly confident on, although there is a lot of stuff you need to remember. PE also is the same, and with my practical scores not great, I need a good grade in the exam.

Well if you get bored easily, try and find unique ways, like some people put little snippets of info on sticky back paper and post them where you will see them, so every time you see them, you are revising each one.

Or do what i did and use this very helpful website: www.samlearning.com

It really is a great website that, but knowing some of you, you wont resist the strong attraction to PC! ;)

I did my German oral exam today, thought it went well, there was some hesitation but that can only be expected. I didn't make any glaring mistakes either... in the mock, I was asked "Who is the present for?" and I said "It is big".

Stop thinking about me ;).

Not as bad as someone in my school. Apparrently the word for "presentation" is vaguely similar to "pets" (I don't do German so don't actually know :p). Hence when the teacher asked "Can you do your presentation?" this guy spoke about his pets for about a minute. Once it was all over, and the tape had been stopped he asked the teacher "what about my presentation?" You couldn't make it up... :D

Dropping French even though I am averaging a Level 7 in it at year 9...which is average, but just hate the language. Its just basically English, but with a 'J' or 'la' in front of the word and a sex sound in between...

Well, you haven't heard it right, so you kind of have.
Basically, during the mock, he mistook the word 'presentation' for the word for 'zoo' (teaymuh [phonetically]) and he started "Last week I went with my friend to the zoo" and that's as far as he got, and sat in silence until the minute was up. After the tape was stopped he said "What about my presentation?!" and the teacher got up and just sent him out. Those two have pretty decent banter in class as it is so we had a laugh about it.

In other news, got 111/120 in M10 module, still on for an A* :)
