Yeah, just posted in education thread. Maths (Non-calc) tomorrow, then English lit on Tuesday. Luckily I don't do D&T or Science General, so they are my only one's this week. Then I got half term and the week after half term is the worst, got something like 6 exams.

need some help, what are we meant to revise for non calc maths? Read an entire revision guide and I knew all that so I dunno what to do now lol

Ditto, the revision guide I have is useless, Maths just seems impossible to revise for.

Maths isn't bad though, there is nothing you won't have done before, there is one right answer only. Unlike RE/English/Geography where you have to guess if you have written enough, too much, not enough, the right thing, etc.

I did a practice Calc and Non-Calc paper and it did make the exam a lot easier. Forget doing it under timed circumstances though as it's better to get the vast majority of the questions right rather than just see what it'll be like to do a test under exam conditions.

Maths exam tomorrow, is anyone else doing AQA? If so, do you know if it is calculator or non-calculator tomorrow?

I think I will do alright in it but usually the last few questions on the paper confuse me and I don't have a clue what to do, and when I go over it to revise it then it just doesn't sink in :(. I did fairly well in the exam last year and with the coursework, and those together were worth 50% of the grade so I should get a B or a C.

RE exam tomorrow as well but I couldn't really care less what I get in RE, it's pointless and boring and I will be glad to never have to study it again.

I think I'm doing Edexcel but I think its non-calculator for everyone tomorrow.

I still have to go to RE tomorrow despite finishing the course.

Decided all the revision in the world can't beat god so now's the time too pray :)

English is more worrying. I have it written down somewhere what it's about but as long as I've read and understand all the poems and storys I should be ok. Need to do well in English and Maths because I'm taking them at A level, and media even though I'm not doing the GCSE, just randomly chose it because of the way the school makes you choose options.

You can get marks, even if you get the answer wrong. Always show your working! If the examiner sees you are following the right path, you will get marks, even if the final outcome is wrong. I've seen examiners guides (legally I might add, had them given to us by our maths teacher, so we could mark our practice papers. I've got non-calc (Foundation, our whole evening class got lumped into Foundation /o\) tomorrow too, good luck everyone.

If you get the same exam its piss easy, main thing to remember is not to mix and match the questions.

Always show you're working :D Had that drilled into us since SATs, sometimes I worry that I've worked it out wrong and got the right answer so they might take marks off though!

Went through everything in the past hour or so, ony thing I don't know is the trig and that's on the calculator paper so I've got time.

Tom if Maths is hard I reckon I can cope if i work hard, and the harder it is the btter it looks on a cv ;)

Our Maths is OCR I think. More nervous about tomorrow than Tuesday's English Lit, because I've already got English Language. Yeah I always think that if I do the working out wrong but get the answer right, they'll take away marks!

You can't lose marks.
