You're still there?! Haha Jesus!

How's your course and ---- going?

Yeah, obviously just a temporary job until I finish the course but I do find it deathly dull and I'm not entirely sure where a full time job is going to come from.

I finish the course in May or June. Haven't really enjoyed it that much. Very much been doing just enough to get by rather than trying to excel. Are you still doing yours or have you finished?

Yeah still crashing through mine, now just over half way through the whole thing. There would be nothing stopping me leaving and going out looking for a job, not learned any new skills since about December 2011.. Loads of good contacts here though (from the tutors) so going to try and utilise them to the fullest. You doing straight journalism?

The first two years were an FdA (foundation degree) in Sports Journalism, and this year is the last year of a BA in Journalism.

I never had any idea what I wanted to be when I was growing up. Turned out to be a banker in the end but more importantly father to a beautiful kid.

Are you one of those lucky bankers who get massive bonuses all the time.

Wanted to be a doctor but that idea got curbed when I was about 12/13 and got really lazy.

I guess now I want to go into pharmacology of some sort, make drugs etc. But I don't really know exactly. Still at university now.

I actually plan to spend ~2 years or so play poker "professionally" when i finish uni before going into any sort of proper career.

I wanted to become a cricketer, a bowling allrounder more specifically. I had a big opportunity but my parents were of the opinion that I should better study and leave cricketing dreams and here I'm doing a boring course after my graduation.

One of mates paid his way through Uni with online poker.

I've not far off done the same, really. Don't even know why I applied for a maintenance loan.

I didn't apply for the non-repayable grant i'm technically eligible for though as I don't need it and I'd feel guilty taking it. Not very scouse behavior. I feel like I should have applied for two while getting a giro sent to my nan's address for the duration of uni.

The obvious one was a sportsman, played rugby for like 12 years and thought I would go on with that but just lost interest, so I went with the other option that I'd always fancied, becoming a cop. Passed my exams a couple of months ago and just passed my medical/psychiatry assessment yesterday.:thumbs

That's great! Do you go to the academy now or become a junior officer? Don't really know how it works. :)
