I hope everyone's ok with this format.
Unfortunately I will be able to post only one match per day due to my school commitments.

Fantastic way to start the proceedings. Openers disappointed us but Root with a little help from middle order and Faulkner gave us a good enough total which our bowlers defended well. Hazelwood did his job perfectly so did the others. Everyone picked up wickets which is good.

Sorry about that.

Dortmund started really slowly. Bayern's opening duo Starc and Steyn troubled the openers with pace and swing. After Coetzer had fallen to Oliver Henry, Kumar Sangakkara steadied the innings with a watchful yet filled with eye-pleasing strokes 76. Together with the captain Adam Shantry he laid the platform for the middle order, but Starc and Steyn had other ideas. Starc removed Shantry, Sanga and Williamson, while Steyn took care of local boys Rawat and Richards. Only a quick half-century from Mitchell Marsh could take Dortmund to over 250. Shane Warne's comeback to competitive cricket at almost 47 went quite unnoticed, as he claimed tidy figures of 0/30 off 10.

24-year old Heinrich Klaasen, who has been touted as a future wicketkeeper for South Africa, made no harm to that statement, scoring 89 unbeaten runs from just 79 deliveries, overshadowing his coutryman Hashim Amla's excellent 83 to take Bayern to the victory in Der Klassiker. Dortmund's cricket fans join their football counterparts in seeing their team defeated by the better players that Bayern have. No BVB bowler was incisive enough.

Virat Kohli battled against surprisingly good bowling by Hamid Hassan and Nathan Freitag, who had removed both the openers in his third over. He crawled his way to 50 off 98 deliveries, without hitting a boundary, and then looked to unleash his destructive self seen many times before. After smashing 17 off 5 deliveries, including 4 consecutive boundaries off Rana-Javed Iqbal, he was out caught behind, after trying to cut a delivery from offie Ollie Rayner. Typical late blitzes from Alangir Mehmood, Farooq Ahmed and Andrew Westphal took Köln to 252.

What a thriller! After Imran Chaudry departed for 12, Usman Khawaja and Steven Smith put on a quick partenership, and with Darren Bravo and KP still to come, it seemed as Hamburg were gonna cruise to the win. It wasn't the case though , as both Aussies fell quickly, and Bravo went back to the hut shortly afterwards. Pietersen played a sensible innings of 51, but he kept losing partners at the other end. He eventually was the second-last man out, in the 48th over. With 21 required off the last 2, Iqbal and Hassan got 14 in the 49th, but the latter was sent packing by a brilliant yorker from Zadran on the last ball of the over. With 7 needed off 6 deliveries, Iqbal hit the first for four, and then was forced into taking a single, leaving last man Shakeel Hassan with 2 to get off 4. He left a very wide ball that was just inside the tram line, and then smashed the next through the covers!

P.S For Mark : You had one overseas too many in your lineup, so i put Shakeel Hassan in place of Sunil Narine, because i didn't want to lose time waiting for your reply, as you weren't online when i started doing the presentation. I hope you won't mind.

Well that was close, we played well and we bowled well but its just been that time for the boys where we dint cross the line. Congratulations to Mark for the victory & I hope we cross the line and win the next match. Good game boys buck up.

Kagiso Rabada bowled a brilliant spell of 2-24 in 10 overs, troubling the Frankfurter with pace and swing. Despite ABD's run-a-ball 60, and contributions from von Rauenstein, ten Doeschate and Dhoni, the Brewers could reach only 240. Trent Boult also took 3 wickets. Nathan Hauritz returned to competitive cricket barely months after his retirement.
