We signed off on a good note there. The 1st innings batting was once again disappointing and they took the lead on us but we did very well to bounce back in the 2nd Innings and our bowlers bowled their heart out in the chase to secure a win for us.

We finished third, that's satisfactory but we could havone much more had we performed well in all departments with more consistency. It was nice to be part of the first season of this league and the graphical work and management by arjind was very good 
. I won't be continuing in Season 2 so wishing this league the best for the upcoming seasons.

A word about my inactivity and next season:
I apologise that there were spells of inactivity by me but these were caused by unforeseeable events regarding a trip I am making tonight. It will be lasting 3 weeks at which point I'll be away from my computer the whole time. I may have time for a quick update but won't have access to cricksim etc... so Season II will start when I get back.
On to Season II...
I've enjoyed running Season I but my workload from school is bound to increase next year so I have to be able to manage my personal life alongside the league.
My new plan: Not to run a tournament per say but more a continuous reel of series played between the sides giving it a more realistic feel. (e.g. Reebok may play Nike for 3 tests and 3 ODIs). And yes ODIs will now be incorporated aswell. There will be trading windows and ranking will be based on average points so no matter how many games have been played, all teams will be fairly ranked but will also get even chances to play. This will allow me to possibly take a short break if my school workload becomes hectic but it also means I can push forward if I find myself with lots of free time.
I am also hoping to incorporate one new idea: player development. This will be the role of the coach, not the manager. (This therefore means teams need a coach aswell as a manager).
The job of the manager will be: Declaring squads and teams for the upcoming games (although this is something which the coach can also have input in on); Preparing pitches for home tours; organizing friendly matches with other teams; making trades.

(I'll try to keep it once a week or once every two weeks but time will dictate on that front.) It is possible for a player to increase or decrease his stats.)

I apologise that there were spells of inactivity by me but these were caused by unforeseeable events regarding a trip I am making tonight. It will be lasting 3 weeks at which point I'll be away from my computer the whole time. I may have time for a quick update but won't have access to cricksim etc... so Season II will start when I get back.
On to Season II...
I've enjoyed running Season I but my workload from school is bound to increase next year so I have to be able to manage my personal life alongside the league.
My new plan: Not to run a tournament per say but more a continuous reel of series played between the sides giving it a more realistic feel. (e.g. Reebok may play Nike for 3 tests and 3 ODIs). And yes ODIs will now be incorporated aswell. There will be trading windows and ranking will be based on average points so no matter how many games have been played, all teams will be fairly ranked but will also get even chances to play. This will allow me to possibly take a short break if my school workload becomes hectic but it also means I can push forward if I find myself with lots of free time.
I am also hoping to incorporate one new idea: player development. This will be the role of the coach, not the manager. (This therefore means teams need a coach aswell as a manager).
The job of the manager will be: Declaring squads and teams for the upcoming games (although this is something which the coach can also have input in on); Preparing pitches for home tours; organizing friendly matches with other teams; making trades.
